For the first time in the 11-year history of the Annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show, the entire evening will incorporate a theme, from the venue to the music, from the guest appearances to the requested attire. The Awards Show will be held at “The Joint” showroom inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and will be ED’s first ever “Rock ‘n’ Roll Awards Show.”

The ‘08 Awards Show will be held on Wednesday, August 27, from 9 to 11 pm, and will be preceded by a one-hour reception inside “The Joint.” The ED’s Awards Show is the crowning event of the 16th Annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners EXPO, and is still the only national awards show for the multi-billion-dollar adult nightclub industry. The Awards Show and EXPO are both produced by ED Publications.

In keeping with this year’s theme of “firsts” for the Awards Show, this will also be the first time that the show will have co-hosts. Adult superstarlet and Digital Playground contract girl Jesse Jane will be joined by the Howard Stern Show’s Ronnie the Limo Driver, who will be handing out awards throughout the evening and promise to bring a sexy rock ‘n’ roll attitude to this year’s festivities. Joining the pair on stage will be — again, for the first time ever — a live rock band, who will be playing throughout the evening. The show will also include visual surprises never before seen at an EXPO Awards Show.

The 2008 ED’s Awards Show will present awards to the nation’s top adult clubs and feature entertainers. In addition to regional club awards, there are four entertainer awards including the “Adult Movie Feature of the Year” Award, the “Newcomer of the Year” Award, the “Club Owners’ Favorite of the Year” Award and the coveted “Overall Entertainer of the Year” Award. There is also an award for “Cool New Product of the Year,” “Feature Club of the Year,” “Club Chain of the Year,” “Industry Innovator of the Year,” and the Annual ED’s Hall of Fame inductions.

This will also be the first time that the ED’s awards will include the STOREROTICA awards, as lingerie, adult film and erotic product companies will join the adult nightclub industry for one national awards event.

In addition to the band, the four nominees for the prestigious “Overall Entertainer of the Year” Award — Carmen Hart, Jada Deville, Keira Riley and Schevelle — will provide live entertainment throughout the show. The show will also include guest appearances by Penthouse Pet of the Year 2008 Erica Ellyson, Pet of the Year Runner-Up Justine Joli, and Wicked Pictures’ Jessica Drake, among others.
