A Brazilian designer recently unveiled a line of lingerie that has a built-in global positioning device to enable the wearer to be tracked by satellite.

And though critics of the lingerie claim that the lingerie with a gps system was developed to help men keep track of the whereabouts of their lovers, Lucia Lorio, the creator of this unique lingerie says the lace bodice was created to make it easier for women kidnapped by thugs or terrorists to be located and rescued. He also points out that the password-protected gps could also be deactivated at any time by the wearer.

In a related web story, it is being reported that another anti-terror lingerie product may be in the works, as an Illinois company has registered a U.S. patent for a bra with cups that can also function as an air-filtration system in case of a chemical attack.
