In the interview, Jeremy talked about his days as Ron Hyatt, a struggling actor from Queens, New York. Ron, in attempt to forward his career, sent some nude photos his girlfriend took to Playgirl Magazine. The photos were published in Playgirl, but his acting career continued to stall. Ron asked a movie maker friend to give him a break. The friend explained that he only made porn movies, but said he would be happy to give Ron work in his films. So, after getting the blessing from his family (along with the insistence that he not use the family name), Ron Jeremy the porn star was born.
