Digital Playground’s critically acclaimed movie “Cheerleaders” is AVN’s Best Renting Title of the Year and Best Selling Title of the Year.  The honors are the 1st wins of Digital Playground’s impressive 82 nominations for the 2009 AVN Awards Show.  “Cheerleaders” is also nominated for 7 other awards, including Best Vignette Release and Best Director, Non-Feature (Robby D.).  “It was an extremely close race. The Best Renting and Best Selling titles of the year could have easily been Digital Playground’s ‘Babysitters’, but when we counted all the listings on the charts, ‘Cheerleaders’ did even better,” states Paul Fishbein, President of AVN Media.
