Police in Port St. Lucie, Florida believe the chances are good that they will be able to track down a cross-dressing purse snatcher who left behind a fake breast at the scene of the crime.

A story printed in the Palm Beach Post says that a man dressed in women’s clothing snatched the purse of a 74-year-old woman. The victim said that she was walking to her car when she was shoved to the ground and the man took off with her purse.

At the scene the police found a condom, which was filled with water and covered by a sock. The victim said that the item had fallen from the perpetrator’s tube top when he struggled for the purse.

A witness at the crime scene confirmed that the perpetrator was wearing a black tube top as well as a denim mini-skirt. The witness also claimed that the thief fled the scene in a silver car along with two other cross-dressing males.

Police confiscated the fake breast as evidence and are processing it for more clues in hopes of tracking down the suspects. The Palm Beach Post report says that police are also conducting a DNA analysis on what they believe to be a chest hair that they found on the condom.
