A nude photo portrait of former model and current French First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, was sold on the auction block. The piece, entitled “Carla Bruni in Bed,” is a tasteful nude black and white photo shot by Pamela Hanson in 1994.

According to The Daily Beast, one of the ten numbered prints went up for auction yesterday at a Berlin auction house, with bids starting at $3,380. Another nude photo of Bruni sold last year at a New York auction for $91,000 at a New York auction, but this photo only sold for $19,000 to an anonymous bidder who some suspect might have been her hubby, French President, Nicolas Sarkozy.
