Britney Spears has been banned from having sex for the next six months…by her parents.

Earlier this year Jamie and Lynn Spears assumed control of Britney’s personal affairs as well as her professional career, as their eldest daughter found herself facing emotional and mental difficulties. And though they have been happy to report that Britney’s metal state is well on the mend, they have intervened in their daughter’s love life by imposing a six-month ban on the pop idol’s sex life. This ban comes on the heels of the recent claim of a sex tape of Britney and an ex-boyfriend existing, and that the former boyfriend was allegedly seeking to sell said tape.

Fearing that Britney’s weakened emotional state might cause her to make poor judgments selecting future love interests, and that a bad relationship would cause a set back in her recovery, Jamie and Lynn Spears have decided to put their daughter’s love life on hold for the next six months.
