A new record for the largest breast implants in the world was set by adult dancer Maxi Mounds, whose 36MMM rack is now listed in the Guinness World Record Book.
Maxi achieved her record-breaking breast size due to a highly controversial surgical procedure called the “polypropylene string” treatment. According to a report from Metro UK, Maxi had her breast implants taken out in 2000, and the pockets were filled with plastic string. A solution was injected that make the breasts produce fluid and inflate. Due to this procedure, which is banned in the US, each of Maxi’s breasts weigh around 20 pounds and they will continue to get bigger.
On a posting on Maxi’s website (MaxiMounds.com), she talked about her journey towards having her breasts recognized by Guinness. She says that Guinness had rejected her initial requests to have her breasts in the book because they did not have a category for implanted breasts. However, last January Guinness introduced the category, and soon Maxi was on her way to getting her certificate from Guinness that officially proclaimed her implants to be the biggest in the world.
