Quentin Tarantino is quickly building a buzz for his latest project, a remake of the 1965 cult classic movie Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, by pursuing some interesting personalities for the film’s cast.

It was earlier reported that the famed director of modern classics such as Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction had approached Tera Patrick to be in the movie. The latest news is that Britney Spears was approached and accepted Tarantino’s offered for the controversial pop personality to play the role of a lesbian stripper/killer in the production.

Reports say that the director believes Britney will be perfect in the role of the deranged “Varla” character that heads up a threesome of violent killer strippers, while Britney feels that this opportunity might help to re-energize her career.

Movie insiders believe that Tarantino has a few other non-traditional actor/actress choices in mind for other roles for his interpretation of Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
