California Exotic Novelties of Chino, California, a leader in the adult toy business, is one of a very few such companies who regularly give back to the community through charitable work and support of social programs.

Now – in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) – California Exotic Novelties has joined the fight against that dreaded disease. As the industry’s only woman-founded, woman-directed company, they are especially (and in some cases, personally) aware of its devastating effects. So they are donating a portion of each sale of their popular “Papillon” massager to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping breast cancer survivors regain their self-esteem and sexual self.

“This is very much in keeping with our mission, which is to empower women’s lives,” says Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of California Exotic Novelties. “What could be more empowering than helping survivors have not just a healthy sex life – but a healthy life, period?”.

“Papillon” is just one of literally thousands of products developed and marketed by Susan and her colleagues for open-minded men, women and couples. “Breast cancer is no respecter of race, political affiliation, sexual orientation or socio-economic situation,” says Susan, a former educator. “We’re doing our part to raise awareness of this dreaded disease.”
