David Lord, the porn director who was accused and for allegedly participating in a scheme to bring Hungarian women to the United States to work as prostitutes in Sherman Oaks, issued a statement over the weekend about the case.

Recent news reports have been published relating to David Crawford aka David Lord claiming that he has been involved in a prostitution ring operating out of the San Fernando Valley.  Those statements are false and have absolutely no merit. Mr. Crawford has not been charged or alleged to have been involved in any prostitution ring by the U.S. Government, or by any other authorities.  Mr. Crawford has been charged with perjury regarding matters that are unrelated to prostitution charges by the government against third parties.  At this time, he is unable to comment upon those allegations, and refers all questions to his counsel.
