2010-02-05-AP02070803028New York City’s very own Museum of Sex has a new exhibit entitledRubbers: The Life, History & Struggle of the Condom,” which features a dress created by Brazilian artist Adriana Bertini made of 1,200 hand-dyed condoms.

According to a New York Post report, Bertini has been crafting clothes made from quality-test rejected condoms for the last decade and her creations have been shown around the globe.

The Museum of Sex exhibition also traces the evolution of barrier protection from fish bladders and gourds to vulcanized rubber and designer carrying cases. And there is a part dedicated to the sexually transmitted diseases condoms prevent.
