As reported by Telegraph.co.uk, Cecile Brossard, 40, pleaded guilty to killing one of France’s top bankers, Edouard Stern during an S&M sex session.

Stern was found dead while wearing a flesh-colored latex bodysuit four years ago, with two bullets in the head and two others in the torso.

Miss Brossard was arrested in March 2005, and admitted to shooting her lover during a fight over one million dollars, which he had transferred to her Swiss bank account but then blocked and tried to take back.

Lawyers for Cecile Brossard argued the killing was a crime of passion, and accused Mr. Stern, 50, of being an unscrupulous manipulator and sexual predator who drove their client to an act of folly. On the night of the killing, she felt an “explosion” in her head after he taunted her over the gift, her defense told the court.

They claim she lost control, after he taunted her by saying, “A million dollars is a lot of money to pay for a whore,” grabbing his gun from a drawer and pulling the trigger. Un-premeditated homicide carries a maximum sentence of ten years.

Mr Stern’s lawyers argue that it was plain murder for financial gain – a crime that carries a 20-year sentence.
