I came into the office this morn. (Yes, I work in an office and not at a snack tray in my living room like some so-called industry professionals.) Anyway, I came in, had my coffee and was checking out TheFloatingWorld.com’s various pages when I came across something.

It seems that I’ve gotten under the skin of a certain Tara idiot who took offense to my calling her such a name in my blog about Houston the other day. The way I see it, if it walks like a duck and blogs like a duck, it’s an idiot. That’s my opinion.

The idiot said “Having her good buddy Dan at Genesis call me an idiot does not help her cause.” Houston did not prompt me to defend her, nor is she even aware of this idiot’s blog or posts that I know of. There were some other things said this time around by the idiot about Houston, and while the answers to some of those questions and statements that have been written by various bloggers and fans were answered in a conversation between friends, I can’t or won’t post without permission, ’cause that’s how I roll.

So the idiot continues to go on the defensive and decides to call me dishonest, as well as my employer’s affiliate program, SwankDollars.com. saying that “we” are “shaving” or have “shaved.” First, I do not own GENESIS. I am that magazine’s editor (as well as the editor for VELVET) and an employee and an editorial director for the Magna Publishing Group. Second, I have nothing to do with the SwankDollars affiliate program. Third, I showed ownership the idiot’s accusations and they have assured me that the idiot’s statement about SwankDollars “shaving”  anyone’s numbers is, “absurd” and “untrue.”

The idiot should know that making such accusations without proof, even with a paltry disclaimer such as “in my opinion,” is completely libelous. This goes for both myself and SwankDollars. This in legal terms is totally different than me calling her an idiot, because this is an obviously true statement with proof.
