As reported in TheSun.co.uk, surgeons in Romania had to perform an operation to remove a large can of hairspray that was lodged into a woman’s rectum.

Mirela Gradinaru, 37, of Arad in western Romania came into a medical clinic in dire pain due to the can being stuck in her rear. The doctors successfully were able to get the can out of her anal canal, however Gradinaru refused to cop to how the hairspray can got into her ass in the first place.

Mirandolina Prisca, a doctor who assisted in the can removal spoke to The Sun about the medical emergency. “We had X-rays done to localize the object and then we carried out the operation,” said the doctor. “The patient was fine after it. She was very embarrassed. She was clearly in a lot of pain, however it got there.”

“This was not just a little can of deodorant, this was a massive can of hairspray,” said another hospital employee.

The doctors assured all concerned that Prisca would make a full recovery, though they admitted that they will probably never learn about the events that led to the can getting stuck in her rectum.
