The Daily Telegraph reports that, as a way of taking revenge on her cheating husband, a wife forced her unfaithful spouse to stand in public with a sign saying– “I cheated”.

William Taylor, of Centerville, VA stood on a busy road during morning rush hour wearing a sign around his neck reading– “I cheated.This is my punishment.” Taylor told the Daily Telegraph that his wife had come up with the humiliating punishment after she found out he had cheated on her.

His wife found evidence of his affair on his mobile phone.

Taylor said his wife had wanted him to stand with the sign for a week. But after a couple of hours he received a call to say his punishment was over.

He told a local TV station in Virginia that he thought his wife was joking when she suggested the idea.

“I thought she was kidding, but she was serious,” he said. “I figured I got to do what I got to do to makes things right. So here I am.

As reported at Yorkshirepost.co.uk, a female patient had sex with her doctor in an examination room while her husband was sitting in the waiting room.

The woman told the story about her sex with Dr. Michael Rusling to a disciplinary panel. She explained that she and her husband sat in the waiting area until Rusling entered and led her away for a sex session.

Later, the woman, who is also a grandmother, detailed the incident in her diary as she wrote “what a great buzz”.

The woman told a General Medical Council Fitness to Practise hearing she made appointments for intercourse with the doctor and enjoyed weekly liaisons with him at her home in a seven-month affair.

Giving evidence in private, screened from the press and public, the married woman, known as Patient A, recalled how the sexual contact began during a consultation at the Sydenham House Group Practice in Hull in September 2006.

She admitted feeling vulnerable after having a few lunchtime drinks with her sister before seeing Dr Rusling about a lump on her stomach.

“He examined me and then he just his put his hands further down. He put them down to my vagina and underneath my clothing,” she said.

Rusling then pulled her to the examination table, she unzipped his trousers and then gave him oral sex, the panel was told.

He called her the next day and asked if “the coast was clear” before he drove to her home, walked in and locked the door. He then went into the bedroom and started stripping off as she sat dressed on the edge of her four-poster bed.

They went on to have oral sex and full intercourse before she said Rusling delivered an “awful lecture” in which he said no-one at the practice needed to know about their affair.

The pair would go on to meet every Tuesday on her day off from work.

Regular visits to the doctor would also be arranged with Patient A particularly keen to grab the last appointment on Fridays as Dr Rusling was “always running late” and it would be “awkward” with other patients in the waiting room.

She said the relationship ended when Dr Rusling was suspended from duty and she later gave a witness statement to the GMC in which she felt pressurized to do so but also “morally obliged”.

Asked about the consequences of the affair, she said: “Disastrous, totally disastrous. I’m emotionally lost. My husband is divorcing me, my daughter is not speaking to me. It could not get any worse.”
