Yreka California woman, April Bonjour, is seeking 25,000 dollars in compensation from sex toy company, Pipedream Products Inc., after allegedly suffering massive bleeding while using one of their vibrating dildos last November.

In a personal injury complain filed on August  30 in a California Supreme Court, Bonjour wrote,”During usage I felt a sharp pain inside my vagina,” she said. “My boyfriend quickly removed the toy, it was covered with blood.”

When, at first, she thought she was beginning her period, she realized something was wrong when she felt faint.

“I started to get faint from the loss of blood. My boyfriend called 911. By the time they got there, I was in and out of consciousness.” Bonjour continued. “My son was woken up so we could go to the hospital,” she wrote. “He thought it I was dying…[and] quite frankly so did I.”

After being stabalized following several pints of blood through transfusion, Bonjour contacted the Southern California based “marital aid” company, where, according to Bonjour, they “brushed off” the situation, and refused to reward Bonjour with any compensation. It was then she felt she needed to take legal action, and later filed a suit towards Pipedream Products.

The lawsuit cites the when the injuries allegedly occurred, the “Product was being used in the manner intended by the defendant.”

As of press time, Pipedream has made no official statement regarding the lawsuit.

Up until yesterday, Ric Alonso and his 21 year partner, Ernie Koneck—was the Executive Director of the Southern California Scholarship Association which produces the Miss Hollywood Pageant—a feeder for the Miss America Pageant. However, once Radaronline.com exposed Alonso as a moonlighting gay porn star by the name Jake Cruise— prompting Koneck to resign his position.

According to the three XXX websites that Alonso allegedly owns—the former Miss America sponsor states, “My movies are not your typical gay porn. I’m in a lot of the movies.”

During the Miss Hollywood pageant, Alonso was “a major sponsor” for the 2011 scholarship donations helped by the Southern California Scholarship Association, while Koneck’s knack was the pageantry end. After Koneck’s resignation, he cited that Alonso only dealt with the funding part of the end of Miss Hollywood, and was not involved in the pageant.

“Ric has been involved in the pageant only financially. He’s not involved in the running of the pageant in any way,” Koneck said. ” Likewise, my involvement in Ric’s business is strictly administrative and financial. I am CFO and handle accounting, finance, human resources, etc. Also, the Southern California Scholarship Association is not a nonprofit corporation, nor has it ever been presented as such. It is an unincorporated association that does not make a profit or remunerate anyone involved in the pageant in any way,” he continued. “All funds raised are used for pageant scholarships, pageant production expenses and expenses related to preparing our titleholders for state competition. Effective today [Tuesday, November 29], I have resigned from the Miss California Organization and the Southern California Scholarship Association.”

Typically, the involvement in the adult entertainment industry and pageants results in a conflict of interest, and according to a pageant agent and Hollywood publicist, Angie Meyer, “”Young girls across the country have looked up to Miss America for decades. Any connection the organization has with the porn industry, even financially, will prove dire effects going forward. It would be a huge mistake for any groups under the Miss America umbrella to continue dealings with these sort of individuals. Links to pornography run afoul to the principles the pageant was founded upon.”

On the other hand, media expert and pop culture columnist, Jenn Hoffman, counter argued saying, ““The production of pornography is legal in the United States. There is no reason Ric Alonso’s money should be considered dirty or inappropriate for funding a beauty contest or any other business venture,” said Hoffman. “To single out porn would hypocritical; especially considering statistics say an estimated 70 percent of men and 30 percent of women look at it nearly every single day. That makes pornography more popular than smoking, drinking – or even the Miss America pageant!”

As of press time, Alonso hasn’t made any statements with his involvement, and Koneck hasn’t issued what he plans on doing in the future.

In recognition of World AIDS Day, Next Door Entertainment announced today that they will donate a percentage of website sales on Dec. 1 to support the “Until There’s A Cure” foundation.

This contribution is one of a series of activities that the studio has planned to help raise awareness and funds for the cause.

In addition to their own contribution, a “Donate Now” link will be added to all of the Next Door websites to encourage surfers to visit the “Until There’s A Cure” website and donate to the charitable foundation directly.

Until There’s A Cure is a national organization dedicated to putting an end to HIV/AIDS.

“We are proud supporters of the dedication and hard work of our friends at Until There’s A Cure,” said Stephan Sirard, President of Next Door Entertainment. “Their work in raising awareness about the importance of getting tested and knowing your status is something that we fully support.”

In addition to the fund raising activities, a special AIDS Awareness public service campaign video featuring exclusive Next Door models has been produced and is available on NextDoorStudios.com and through the Next Door Buddy Profits affiliate program.

The video features informative facts and HIV/AIDS prevention advice from Marcus Mojo, Samuel O’Toole, Brandon Lewis, Rod Daily, Austin Wilde, Brody Wilder, James Jamesson, James Huntsman, Johnny Torque, Tylor Torro and Anthony Romero.

As part of their message, the models encourage their fans to get tested regularly and always know their status. Employees of Next Door Entertainment have also been raising donations by selling wrist bands, baked goods, and holding a company raffle.

The company has pledged to match all employee donations made to the “Until There’s A Cure” charity.

Former Atlanta Hawks National Basketball Association sensation Anthony “Spud” Webb has accepted his latest challenge – coach of a newly formed team of shapely women from Rick’s Cabaret/New York City. Despite his diminutive size, he averaged over 10 points and five assists a game, played in several playoff series and won the slam-dunk championship at the 1986 All-Star game, beating out Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan.  After retirement as a player, became an executive of the Texas Legends, a NBA Development League team and is a popular motivational speaker.

Rick’s Cabaret introduced Webb to the media at a news conference at the New York City club today, at which he put his team through a practice session in front of the stage where they normally dance. The New York team is expected to play games shortly against the Minneapolis Downtown Cabaret and Tootsie’s Cabaret in Miami.

“These ladies are fabulous and have obvious talents and skills I can’t think of a better way to entertain long-suffering NBA fans,” Webb said.

“He’s a hero to people of all sizes and he shows that anyone can accomplish anything,” said Gianna, a point guard on the New York team. “Of course we are happy the NBA is combing back in December–they are some of our best customers. We’ll play ‘til the NBA season starts because our fans and customers want it.”
