A man who claims to have a videotape of Madonna and Alex Rodriguez engaging in a sexual tryst is seeking to sell the scandalous footage for a little over $2,000,000, according to a story posted on News.com.au.

The man says that the encounter was shot two months ago with a hidden camera that he set up at a friend’s house, which the pop star and Yankees third baseman allegedly used for their secret sexual meetings, and that the tape shows the couple in compromising positions on a sofa.

The News.com.au story says a legal source explained to Britain’s Daily Star that the man who shot this footage could find himself in some serious legal trouble. “If footage was obtained in this way it would be an outrageous invasion of privacy,” said the source. “But more than that he would not have had his friend’s consent to install the camera and must have entered the apartment without approval to hide it. He would be guilty of voyeurism. Instead of making a million he’d be going to jail for a few years.”

According to the story, Madonna’s lawyers are “aware” of the claims that this sex tape exists. Madonna also continues to deny that she and Rodriguez are or have been involved in an affair together.
