Scientists claim to have discovered that the pleasure a woman gets from sex is directly linked to her partner’s wealth.

Dr Thomas Pollet, the Newcastle University psychologist behind the research that has led to this claim believes that the wealthier a man is, the more frequently his partner has orgasms.

“Women’s orgasm frequency increases with the income of their partner,” says Pollet.

Pollet says that the finding is based on an “evolutionary adaptation” that is instinctive to women, which drives them to select a man on the basis of their perceived quality.

Pollet, and Professor Daniel Nettle, who co-authored this study, say that the female orgasm is an evolutionary adaptation that drives women to choose and retain high-quality partners.

“Increasing partner income had a highly positive effect on women’s self-reported frequency of orgasm,” Pollet said of the findings in his study. “More desirable mates cause women to experience more orgasms.”
