Celebrated airline pilot Chesley Sullenberger and his wife did an interview with NBC in which they talked about how their sex life has improved since the man America knows as “Sully” became a national hero.

In an interview with NBC’s People of the Year TV, the man who saved his crew and passengers by taking US Airways Flight 1549 into New York’s Hudson River for an emergency landing sais he is now getting “rock star sex” from his wife.

Sully’s wife, Laurie, added that the famous incident had done wonders for their marriage.

“He doesn’t know I’m gonna say this, but I had joked the other day that … the hero sex really helps a 20-year-old marriage,”

There are already reports that a movie of the Flight 1549 landing are in the works and that Tom Cruise is slated to play Sully on the big screen.
