An earlier story floating around celebrity gossip pages that Brooke Hogan, the daughter of legendary pro wrestler Hulk Hogan and star of the VH1 “celebreality” show “Brooke Knows Best,” was approached to pose nude for Playboy Magazine has been confirmed as true by Hogan’s publicist.

The pop singer/reality TV star’s publicist confirmed with the New York Daily News that Hogan not only was offered a deal top pose nude for Playboy, but that the offered had not been turned down.

In 2006 Brooke attempted to parlay her television notoriety as part of the VH1 show, which at the time was called “Hogan Knows Best,” into a singing career. However her 2006 CD release, Undiscovered was met with lukewarm reviews at best and poor sales numbers. The need to revitalize her career has created speculation that a Playboy layout feature might be something the 20-year-old Hogan would seriously consider.

Whether Brooke Hogan will indeed grace the pages of Playboy Magazine in a nude pictorial remains to be seen, as her publicist told the Daily News that, “No decision has been made at this time.”
