In New York City, the recently opened Standard Hotel is quickly gaining a reputation for being a favorite lodging spot for exhibitionists, and the free shows happening in front of the hotel room windows are attracting a regular audience of onlookers from the park that the Standard overlooks.

Guests at the Standard Hotel are choosing not to close the curtains as they frolic naked in front of their rooms’ floor-to-ceiling windows, which can easily be viewed from the High Line park below.

One city official has called some of the hotel’s window action “unacceptable.”

Aaron Lipman, 34, who works in the neighborhood, called the ad-hoc shows “healthy and fun.” He told the New York Post it’s like TV’s “Wild Kingdom.”

The Standard Hotel issued a statement on Monday saying its managers will try harder to “remind guests of the transparency” of the windows.

Among the activities reported to have been seen happening in full view outside the hotel windows are couples engaging in intercourse, naked girls jumping on a bed as well as a number of incidents of guests masturbating.
