Adult novelty mega-manufacturer Doc Johnson announces an exclusive deal to develop a product line for the adult film industry’s number one rising star, Sasha Grey. Doc Johnson has wasted no time in getting development underway, having already begun production of Sasha’s signature piece, a lifelike replica of the star’s most prized possession. The debut date for Sasha Grey’s first branded novelty is undetermined, but consumers will likely see the results of this powerful partnership throughout all of 2009.

“Doc Johnson is excited to enter a novelty production relationship with the hottest new star to take the adult world by storm,” said Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson’s Director of Licensing and Product Development. “Sasha Grey has been generating a lot of buzz since her adult film debut, and we’re looking forward to developing cutting edge product for her growing fan base.”

Since shooting her first scene just two years ago, Sasha Grey has become an industry star. The 20- year-old Sacramento native has received tremendous recognition in her short time making adult films, including top honors as Penthouse Pet of the Month for July 2007 in addition to receiving AVN, XRCO, RRFF and AdultCon awards. She is also featured as part of the art work for The Smashing Pumpkins 2007 album Zeitgeist, and appears in the band’s 2008 video “Superchrist.” Sasha Grey stars in the movie Broken, directed by Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro and will play a role in Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming film “The Girlfriend Experience.”

Sasha Grey is the most recent adult entertainer to enter a novelty development deal with Doc Johnson. The adult novelty powerhouse also develops toys for industry icons Jenna Jameson, the world famous Vivid Girls, Belladonna and Mr. Marcus.
