In what pundits are saying was a mere technicality, Adult Video News made it official today, nominating Kagney Linn Karter for the coveted Best New Starlet award as well as five other awards, including Best Supporting Actress for Not Married With Children XXX and four for her sex scenes.

AVN put Kagney on the cover of its annual June “Fresh” issue and her scenes have continually received rave reviews from the magazine.

“A lot of people have talked about me getting nominated recently,” Kagney said, “and I was really hoping it would happen, but I couldn’t let it go to my head. I couldn’t believe it until I actually saw it, and when I did I couldn’t help but let out a little squeal!”

The blonde bombshell has had a truly remarkable debut year, scoring countless box covers, making the cover of magazines like Hustler, Penthouse, Genesis and Cheri. She’s appeared on Howard Stern’s radio show and in the past few months has begun a promising feature dancing career and debuted her website. She has appeared in some of the year’s biggest movies, including Not Married With Children XXX, WKRP in Cincinnati: A XXX Parody, TMSleaze, This Ain’t Hell’s Kitchen XXX, The AJ Bailey Experiment, Bad News Bitches #4, Writer’s Bullpen, Dancing With Porn Stars and dozens of others.
