Manhattan judge, James D. Gibbons, 47, recently resigned his status as a well-respected part of New York City’s judicial system earlier this month after porn such as “massive amounts of crotch and cleavage shots”  was found during a routine court monitoring while Gibbons was on paternity leave.

According to a law enforcement source of the The New York Post: “The girls definitely look underage.” In New York, it’s illegal to have pornographic images of someone under the age of 16, and the girls in the photos are stated to look around the age of 14. Another source added that: “These [pictures] appear from illegal sites, with illegal content, but it’s unclear whether the ages of the photographs’ subjects can be verified.”

Gibbons’s morals were being questioned when he impregnated Legal Aid lawyer, Jeanne Emhoff, 31, with whom he now lives and has a son. However, questions were raised about this affair since it was under investigation if Emhoff had a case under Gibbons’s bench, theefore creating conflict of interest.

Lawyer, Adam Freedman stated: “He was a very careful judge of the law. If he was using his state issued computer for illegal activities, it would be uncharacteristic, considering how careful he is on the law.”

Not careful enough, apparently.
