Legendary film director Henri Pachard, whose real name was Ron Sullivan, passed away this morning in California after a long battle with cancer.

A director whose career in adult spanned about 30 years and more than 400 movies including the adult classics Babylon Pink, Devil In Miss Jones 2, Blame It On Ginger, and Taboo American Style to name just a few, Pachard made many good friend in his years in the business and was as respected as they come.

Many in the industry attempted to rally around Henri to help defray medial and living expenses during his illness, and the most notable of these efforts was the controversy-ridden We Are The World XXX adult video project which is still being worked on.

Those close to the director have said that the past three years during this battle with the jaw and throat cancer were tough and painful on not only Pachard and his wife, Deloras. I first met him briefly about 11 years ago during one of the first industry functions I had ever attended, and during our short conversation it was easy to see why so many admired him. And while all are sad to see him go, we know that he is now no longer in pain. Rest in peace Henri.

As first reported by GramPonante.com, it is confirmed that Anastasia Blue passed away back on July 19th at her home in Washington State. Here is her obituary that ran in a local paper. The official cause of death is unknown, but several message board postings at various sites have said that they were not natural. Fans packed The Dome in California this past weekend for a wild-and-crazy wrestling show featuring mega-adult stars and pro-wrestlers!

NRPW held yet another multi-card match at the Bakersfield facility and in front of a stunned audience man after man got pummeled, bloody, body-slammed and thrown around the ring (and hey, the ladies did some tussling of their own, too!).

The first match consisted of Billy Blade versus Derrick Von Cool. The SBA (Scum Bag Agents) sent their bodyguard out West to do their ‘light work’ and put a beat-down on Blade. Of course, this didn’t work, as Billy turned the heat on Von Cool – taking the win. Blade is now one step closer toward winning Heidi Maynes’ contract back!

Rock of Love Kayden knew it would be difficult to wrestle a drunk, but he took the win the second match against The Drunken Irishman. Throughout the night, Dustin Rhodes and Evan Stone kept handing liquor to the Irishman, getting him completely blasted (all the while telling him that Kayden was talking crap hit about his mom!). Thinking he was putting another beating on Kayden, the Irishman came out swinging again; but, it turns out Sean Casey got the all the attention of Kayden’s fists. Casey got messed up so violently the medics were called in!

During the Tommy Gunn versus Craig Valentine title match, Craig made quick work of Tommy Boy with a 30 second pin. On the way back into the locker room, Evan jumped Craig, beating him bloody with a galvanized trash can!

NY-Knockout Nikki fought against Melissa Coates in the first female “championship qualifying match” of the evening. These girls fought more than the guys, and the referee didn’t seem to want to get involved! Plus, there was interference form the transgender-champion Cotton Candy – tripping up both girls for the DQ! Needless to say this girl-grudge is far from over.

The second to last (fifth out of six matches) bloodbath, Nate Rules took on Sean Casey, and Tatiana and Payton wrestled against Bull Buchanan and David Young (with adult stars Christina Star and Kelly Skyline sticking around for sexy support). This was an old-fashioned knockout-fest until Payton took a shot at Young…then both porn girls started with a smack down on her! This made the ring morph into a 4-way cat fight! Finally – on to the last match of the night. (This is the deal, fans. If Dustin won, he would’ve faced Craig for the X-Belt Championship. If Vampire Warrior won, he would face Evan Stone for the Heavyweight Championship…get it!?) Anyway, Vampire Warrior came into the ring with Matt Zane, and Dustin Rhodes entered the ropes with Evan Stone. Like an old-fashioned backyard brawl, the boys fought in the ring, on the stage, in the crowd, and out into the parking lot!

Resulting in a double-DQ, Evan went into a fit of rage and lunged at Zane – the guest rocker for the night! Craig Valentine then ran into the arena and knocked out the sly Stone in the middle of the ring. Craig quickly took the mic, promising a huge main event on November 29th (with a stellar tag-team matchup between Vampire Warrior and Craig Valentine versus Evan Stone and Dustin Rhodes).

The next meeting has special conditions: whatever team wins on November 29th gets the title shot on January 9th, 2009, in Las Vegas – the night before the legendary AVN (adult industry) Awards Show! Fans can expect some hardcore hits and sexy ring-side action going on at the start of the New Year! The next NRPW events, by the way, will be live Pay-Per-View matches!

Viewers will see these four stars think on their feet in eight half-hour episodes as they attempt to take the business world by storm and learn the tricks of another trade.

” ‘My Bare Lady 2: Open for Business’ gives TV audiences something hot to talk about at the water cooler,” said Bob Boden, SVP, Programming, Production & Development, Fox Reality Channel. “This season, ‘My Bare Lady 2′ will be turning up the heat even more as the women are taken entirely out of their comfort zone and attempt to run a business.”

All of this season’s “My Bare Lady 2″ stars have extensive backgrounds in the American adult film industry and know the business mantra “Sex sells.” This season’s bombshell cast includes Brooke Haven, Casey Parker, Sunny Leone and Veronica Rayne. These ladies will not only live together, but compete in challenges that include pitching ideas to investors, putting together fundraising events and even working at a car wash! They will then have to put their new skills to the test as they attempt to run an established business successfully for one week.

Due to the difficultly the girls will face in changing career paths, producers brought in the business expertise of corporate coach Mike Mataraza to help mentor them. After retiring as a successful businessman at age 27, Mike started a new career as a motivational speaker working with Tony Robbins. He now travels the country leading success seminars and has authored two books. Mataraza critiques and teaches the women throughout each challenge, doing everything he can to make the girls succeed in their new career endeavors.
