Today The Edge Of Love, a new film starring Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller is being released in the UK. Knightley and Miller play two friends who are vying for the love of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, who is played by Matthew Rhys. The movie has been warmly received by fans and critics at a number of major film festivals, and the performances of both Knightley and Miller are being touted by many as their best on-screen work.

The writer of the script for The Edge Of Love is Sharman Macdonald, who is also Keira Knightley’s mother. The movie calls on Knightley to appear nude in a sex scene, and in an interview published on the Telegraph.co.uk, the 23-year-old British actress talked about performing in a sex scene written by her own mother.

“It certainly didn’t worry me that my mother actually knows what sex is,” joked Knightley. “You’re not really going to get out of the fact that there is going to be sex involved in it.” And on the subject of appearing topless in the scene– “It was very simple. It was a sex scene and I never like them when they’ve got bras on. He (director John Maybury) said, ‘Take your bra off,’ and I said, ‘All right then.’”

The Edge Of Love does not have an American release date at this time.

Even though yesterday was slated to be one of the shorter days of Erotica LA, it was definitely a long one. The show was crowded with fans, and there were lots of stars on hand to meet them. We were lucky enough to get there EARLY and set up the F.A.M.E. booth and have a little production meeting about the F.A.M.E. Awards. That’s set to happen tonight (Saturday) at 9pm with a Red Carpet at 7:30 that will have some surprise guests.

Yesterday I got to see a bunch of people I don’t get to spend time with that much because of our geographical differences, so that was cool. I only got bitched at 4 times by a star (names withheld) where she was placed on the Hot 100, and two stars who I hadn’t heard from yet were even nice enough to thank me (Alexis Amore and Moxxie Maddron) for including them.

The day was pretty uneventful with no major drama, fun stories or general meltdowns. Adam & Eve contract stars Bree Olson, Kayden Koss and Ava Rose, and the always-lovely Gianna Lynn signed at the F.A.M.E. booth for most of the evening. Thanks to Monstar, Leslie, Katy, Anh, Dusty and Danny for helping out over there. But generally speaking, it was the calm before the storm that will be today and tonight with F.A.M.E.

Yesterday was just a good day (despite the toe pain) seeing friends like Tera and Evan, Taylor Wane, Belladonna and Aiden, Karen Stagliano, Sasha Grey, Bree, Kayden and Ava, Gina Lynn and Travis, Joanna Angel, Jenna Haze and Jules, Stormy, Moz, Evan Stone, Ray and Nina Mercedez and lots of others I’m leaving out.

The highlight of the day was moderating our panel, “Everything you wanted to know about porn” which was definitely our most star-studded one yet. Holly Randall, Bree Olson, Sasha Grey, Penny Flame, Stormy, Tera, Evan Seinfeld and Evan Stone kept the crowd entertained for over an hour answering their questions, telling stories from the world of porn and all that comes with being porn stars (and great photographers). Pretty much everyone up there was not only informative and thoroughly professional, but it was great for anyone who is a fan of XXX to see how these people truly are and that’s intelligent, well-spoken, friendly and funny as fuck. Thanks to all of them for taking time at the end of a long day to do this. It was definitely great.

If you’re in the L.A. area, make sure to come down to the show tonight. It’s going to be great. I’ll be hitting Playboy Radio on Sirius at some point today with a couple of stars to talk about F.A.M.E., so it’s time to get ready and head down to the convention center, so let the madness begin.

We here in the NY/NJ metro area were treated to a little oops the other night when local NBC newsanchor and veteran NYC reporter Sue Simmons dropped the F-bomb during a teaser on a break from “Medium.” Of course the press have had a field day with it, but it’s not the first time a reporter has melted down on the air.

I’ve probably received about a dozen emails from friends with this viral video link to Gawker.com of the “Top Ten Angry On-Camera Meltdowns” by newsfolks around the country including Simmons’ “What the fuck are you doing,” Bill O’Reilly goin’ nuts, and old school Sam Donaldson flippin’ out.  It’s not porn, but it’s damn funny. Pink Visual announced that the company will exclusively distribute content from gonzo website absolutevids.com in its Absolute Gonzo DVD line. The line will also include content from assgonzo.com, lesbiangonzo.com and justover18gonzo.com, as well as future online properties. The websites are part of the new Xmoney.com affiliate program, which made its official launch on May 1.

“We’re stoked to have our content rolling out through Pink Visual’s Absolute Gonzo line,” said Q Boyer, general manager of Xmoney. “The DVD line presents us with an additional revenue stream, and will introduce our fine gonzo content to a whole new set of customers.”

Lesbian Fuckfest is the Absolute Gonzo line’s debut title, to be followed by upcoming releases Anal Devastation (May) and Gangbang Junkies  (June). All of the content is shot by some of the most well known gonzo directors in Hi-Def format. Absolute Gonzo is available exclusively through Pink Visual and their network of distributors. Pink Visual will release one Absolute Gonzo title every other month along with its regular monthly releases.
