Production of Man Of Steel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody wrapped recently in Los Angeles, and those who have been on the set unanimously agree that this might be Braun’s finest work to date. The parody movie debuts from Vivid Entertainment on June 14th.

“It was an epic undertaking, and I’m totally thrilled with the result,” says Braun, who has won dozens of awards for his adult parodies. “I think I pushed my compulsive attention to detail to a whole new level with the costumes…it might not mean much by Hollywood standards, but each of our Man Of Steel XXX suits costs more than the entire budget of most porn movies.”

But the big news is that in Braun’s movie Superman (played by Ryan Driller), aside from his classic blue/red costume, also wears a black one. “Supes has donned a black outfit before in the comics,” says notoriously über-geeky director Braun, “most memorably in the Death and Return of Superman storyline from 1992, which is one of my favorites.”

Braun says his original screenplay for Man of Steel XXX features a much larger cast of characters from the Superman universe. “No Zod, but definitely more boobs,” he says. Nadya Suleman’s solo porn video is nominated for four AVN Awards, but if she wins she won’t be there to accept.

Octomom’s manager, Gina Rodriguez, said her client will not be appearing at the Jan. 19 porn industry event in Las Vegas, even though Suleman’s solo sex vid, “Octomom: Home Alone” is nominated for “Best Celebrity Sex Tape,” “Best DVD Extras,” “Best Marketing Campaign” and “Best Solo Release.”

This announcement contradicts earlier comments by Suleman herself, who told The Huffington Post that she was excited about attending the show.

“I’m very excited to attend the AVN Awards,” Suleman told The Huffington Post when the nominations were released earlier this month.

“I’ve never been to anything like that before so I’m really looking forward to it.”

Rodriguez’ business website, GR Media Talent Management, also quoted Suleman as saying she was excited by the nominations.

“I am so proud of my video Octomom Home Alone and I am more than honored to find out it was nominated so many times!” she is quoted on the site.

“It was such a positive experience for me and helped me embrace my sexuality. This will be my first award show I have ever attended and I’m hoping I win!”

The AVN Awards are part of the Adult Entertainment Expo, a three-day smut seminar put on annually in Las Vegas.

Earlier this month, organizers announced that Suleman would be signing autographs on Jan. 18 and 19, but Rodriguez told HuffPost that Octomom won’t be doing that either.

Rodriguez would not explain the contradiction between Suleman’s comments earlier this month and statements on her own website.

Suleman reportedly made enough from the sales of the porn flick to lease a home big enough for her and her 14 kids. She hasn’t confirmed whether she will make another film, though she said in interviews that she found the experience to be “empowering and liberating.”

“This was a very different situation for me. I’ve been celibate for 13 years and avoiding my own sexuality,” Suleman told HuffPost earlier this year.

“I channeled my energy into child rearing.”

Adam & Eve announced that it has signed adult star Alexis Texas to a one-year exclusive contract. Under the terms of the deal, Texas, a five-time AVN Award winner, will perform in a certain number of movies for the company the first of which will shoot next month.

“I’m really excited about becoming an Adam & Eve contract girl,” Texas told AVN. “I’ve been around for a while so I never expected it to happen, but I think being with Adam & Eve is a great fit. Adam & Eve has a great reputation, it’s very family and couples oriented, so I’m excited to get started.”

Adam & Eve new business manager Bob Christian said signing Texas was a great move for both parties.

The UBC Film Society Has Selected the New Sensations’ Parody for a Rare Event Honoring the Beloved, Original Film!

On March 30th, the University of British Columbia Film Society will be screening The Big Lebowski: A XXX Parody as a part of the organization’s special adult film screenings. Two time AVN “Best Performer” actress, Tori Black, and her fiance, Lyndell Anderson, were arrested and booked early Friday morning at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas for domestic violence, with the couple allegedly disputing over baby formula for the five month old son they share.

According to the police report, Black (real name: Michelle Chapman) told police that while in town at the AVN awards, she came back to the hotel after a night of drinking, with Anderson and their infant son waiting in the room. Allegedly, the fighting ensued when Tori told police that Lyndell didn’t have “enough breast milk.” She then reported that Anderson called her “An unfit mother” which is when according to reports—Black admitting to punching Lyndell in the back of the head, however, stating that she did so in self defense as he shoved her against a wall.

Police reported that Tori had bruises on her arm and later, reviewed the tape in which TMZ reported that “[they]saw Lyndell push Tori with such violent force that she flies across the hall.”

Ominous Speculations stirred earlier in the night when Tori’s friends said she missed hosting an AVN party at RPM Nightclub on Friday night.

As of press time, no further information on Tori Black or Lyndell Anderson’s arrest have been made public.

Adult star and Charlie Sheen “goddess,” Bree Olson is quitting porn — this time for good.

Although she announced to TMZ last October that she was done with the adult world, the star has since signed on to co-host the AVN Awards show this Saturday night and is signing for fans at the AEE Expo.

But in an interview with the Las Vegas Sun’s Robin Leach, Bree said her departure was a bit abrupt and she wants to take this last chance to say goodbye.

Olson told Leach it’s her way of saying thank you to her fellow actors, actresses and filmmakers.

“This is a great way for me to say thank you and farewell. I’m trying to transition into mainstream and just trying to evolve my acting career. I don’t have anything against the adult career at all. I have nothing bad to say about it at all, or else I wouldn’t be hosting, but now I want to completely focus on one thing, and I just feel that chapter of my life is over. I’m 25 now. Porn was something I did when I was young and just having fun. I’m evolving as a person,” she said.

When asked if crossing over into mainstream will be tough, Olson admitted she really wasn’t sure, revealing that some little-known adult performers made it without fanfare and stressed that she didn’t consciously use porn as a steppingstone.

“It’s already been difficult, but now the reactions are different. In adult, everything was handed to me because once the name ‘Bree Olson’ was established, I automatically got jobs — I didn’t have to go for ‘auditions.’ I just automatically got everything, which is why I was able to stay home in Indiana, fly to L.A., work two weeks, fly back home, go back out there, back and forth.

“There was nothing to think about. Mainstream is obviously a lot more work. I have to go out and dedicate myself full time to it, but I love the challenge. I’m ready for something like that…I’m ready to work toward challenges again — it’s nice to have a goal.”

Olson said she has an agent and is moving to L.A. from her home in Indiana full time to get “closer to Hollywood,” in order to seriously pursue her acting career.

On January 21, the Best Adult Movie of 2011 from Any Genre Will be Crowned!

For the first time in its 29-year history, the AVN Awards ceremony will culminate this year in the presentation of an all-encompassing grand accolade dubbed “Movie of the Year.”

Contenders for the Movie of the Year award will not be predetermined by committee the way nominees in other categories traditionally are; rather, they will consist of the winners in the following 10 top races: “Best All-Sex Release,” “Best All-Sex Release – Mixed Format,” “Best All-Girl Release,” “Best Gonzo Release,” “Best Vignette Release,” “Best Comedy,” “Best Feature,” “Best Foreign Feature,” “Best Parody – Comedy,” and “Best Parody – Drama.”

In kind, voting for “Movie of the Year” will not be conducted until just prior to the January 21 ceremony, and will take place in a secret meeting among only the core members of the AVN Awards committee, so as to maintain the highest level of confidentiality possible concerning the winners of these major honors.

“I am very excited we’ve decided to create the “Movie of the Year” award,” AVN senior editor Peter Warren said. “Even since the beginning, when we presented separate awards for “Best Film” and “Best Video Feature,” there’s been no definitive AVN Award equivalent to Best Picture. Now we have one.”
