The evening of April 24, movie aficionados, cast, crew, industry luminaries, and critics descended upon Westwood, California for the world premiere of Revenge of the Petites. Featuring a star-studded red carpet, an energetic screening, and a wild after-party, the premiere at the Regent Theatre was a resounding success. For most of the cast and crew, the premiere was their first time seeing the finished movie, the biggest of their careers.
After getting over the initial shock of seeing her vagina on a huge movie screen, Revenge of the Petites star Skin Diamond exclaimed, “ I loved it! I was really happy with my acting in the film and loved playing the character of a cynical tomboy – something different than what I’m used to. I would love to do more features like this. Harry [Sparks] did a great job directing, and I think how much we enjoyed filming comes across well.”
Redheaded lead Marie McCray states, “It was an awesome experience working with Kim [Nielsen] and all the great cast and crew in Revenge of the Petites. I knew I was a good actress before, but after seeing myself on the big screen for the premiere, I see myself as being one of the best actresses in the adult industry. I had a great time with the whole experience and would love to do it again!”

Comparing a sex comedy like ‘Revenge of the Petites’ to the works of Sergei Eisenstein sounds hyperbolic, and certainly Sparks’ goals are comparatively modest, but we’ll be damned if he doesn’t seem to understand the master’s intentions regarding the power of montage, and Sparks is admirable in his attempt to explore the technique’s capacity to titillate, if nothing else.”
Bibbiani continues, “There’s a definite sense throughout the film that Sparks is a legitimately strong director who isn’t trying to make a mainstream film that happens to have sex with it, or an ‘adult’ film that happens to have a narrative. He incorporates both mindsets, thought by some to be inherently conflicting, in fairly equal measure and crafts in the process a genuine motion picture experience that’s both pleasurable and arousing. We have a long way to go before the worlds of conventional filmmaking and pornographic content are intertwined, but ‘Revenge of the Petites’ is at the very least a step in the right direction for an industry too often focused on blasé ‘couples’ storytelling, goofy parodies and narrative-free ‘gonzo’ presentations.”
Key adult industry figures were also entertained by the premiere. Kick Ass Pictures co-owner Scott says, “I enjoyed the movie. I thought the casting was spot on. Marie [McCray] and Skin [Diamond] were especially good in their roles. All the acting was good, and the sex was really good too. I liked the way the sex scenes were cut together. It was clear that a lot of time and hard work went into making the movie.”
In Revenge of the Petites, petite and nerdy Marie and her best friend Skin embark on their freshman year of college. They soon realize college life is not as easy as it seems.
