Smash Pictures might be best known for their niche’ lineup of light story driven hardcore sex movies but the decision to hire gonzo king Jim Powers to direct their feature movie Friends & Family makes perfect sense.

I chose Jim for his great scripts and because he took the time to intertwine and develop each character to make a fun porn plot for Friends & Family,” stated Smash Pictures VP Stuart Wall.  “Plus he’s going to really bring the sex to life.”

The detailed production begins this month following the AEE convention and showcases a spectacular cast that might make you think twice about your own family.

The Godfather XXX and Grease XXX Also in Pre-Production

Director Axel Braun has announced that casting is complete and he will start production in a few weeks for Batman XXX: a Porn Parody, his erotic spoof of the campy 60’s TV show. This marks the first feature from his company Axel Braun Productions to be distributed by Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult film company.  The movie is scheduled for release on January 13th.

“I took my time to find the perfect cast,” said Braun, “I auditioned just about every top actor in the industry, and I have to say it wasn’t an easy task. Everybody wanted to be a part of this, and they all came very well-prepared.”

In the end, Nick Manning won the lead role of Batman, Kris Slater landed the part of Robin, Evan Stone was cast as The Riddler, Randy Spears as The Joker, Nicole Ray as Batgirl, and Tori Black as Catwoman. And be ready for some high-profile cameos in the non-sex roles!

“This project is very important to me,” noted Axel, “Not only because I grew up religiously watching the TV series, but also because it’s the first one in my output deal with Vivid, and I want every detail to be absolutely perfect. Everybody at the company has been amazingly supportive and inspiring, and I feel incredibly honored to be doing business with them.”

Known for his rigorous work ethic and his tireless schedule, the prolific director is already in pre-production on two other high-profile projects, The Godfather XXX, a parody of the Oscar-winning film, and Grease XXX, an ambitious 4-hour sex-musical.

“I can’t wait to see how this is going to turn out but what I’ve seen so far is really spectacular,” Bartholet said perhaps feeling a touch of pressure knowing that Flight Attendants is expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

(Hollywood, CA) Award-winning adult movie director Will Ryder is set to guest star on Playboy Television’s hit series The Boy Nexxt Door this Saturday, August 1st at 9PM.

The episode showcases main star Danny Vegas as he follows his dream of becoming a big time porn director. In this episode, Danny gets his big break when he’s invited to work on the Los Angeles movie set of porn parody king Will Ryder of Not the Bradys XXX, Not the Cosbys XXX and Not Bewitched XXX fame but what happens is anything but smooth as Danny continues to mess things up through a series of hilarious mix-ups and misunderstandings.

The series follows the exploits of pizza delivery boy Danny Vegas of Milwaukee as he does his best to produce and direct home-made porn movies in his parent’s basement. With his Mom and Dad constantly at odds over his career path, he finally gets the courage to venture out of the house and travel to the porn capital of America to meet industry professionals and hopefully make his own mark on the wonderful world of adult movies.

“I love the movies that Will Ryder does and ever since I watched Not the Bradys XXX I was even more inspired to become a professional porn director so he was the first set I wanted to visit on my trip to Los Angeles,” Vegas said.

“I thought it was really cool when the producers called me asking if I would like to be a part of their show,” Ryder said as he prepped the final edits of his next comedy Not Married with Children XXX which is due out on DVD August 25th from X-Play/LFP Video.

“I actually was a fan of the show having watched it for a couple of years on Playboy TV plus the fact that they fictionally base The Boy Nexxt Door in Milwaukee which is my hometown made it even more appealing to me,” Ryder offered.

On the sprawling set of X-Play’s Not Three’s Company XXX, Danny finds himself with an intern-like low-level job as a lube, douche’ and paper towel boy who gets in some trouble with one of the movie’s stars Jenny Hendrix.

“It’s all in good natured fun and makes for a very entertaining episode. They brought their entire crew of about 6 people onto our set and spent the whole day with us. I had a lot of fun with them even though I had to keep my focus on making the best sex comedy possible,” Ryder said.

Following the taping, Not Three’s Company XXX became in instant blockbuster and hit #1 on a number of national sales charts but that certainly is not the case for the TV show’s main character Danny who continues to frustrate his parents while he chases the ‘pot of gold’ at the end of the porn rainbow.

Flight Attendants and Not Monday Night Football XXX will be in stores this September but The Boy Nexxt Door with Will Ryder will debut on Playboy TV Saturday night, August 1st at 9PM.
