Here it is a week later and I’m finally done with the EXXXOTICA New York show. I’ve caught my breath, but am still trying to catch up on shit. Nevertheless, I thought I would give my take on how the show went, the behind the scenes happenings, and a few other details on what went down with the show before, during and after.

EXXXOTICA New York was all set to go. We had a superstar line-up that couldn’t be matched, and then the mayor of the host city, Secaucus, got a bug up his ass and all hell broke loose in the media. As you’ve heard, the show was moved about 40 miles south to the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center in Edison (much to that mayor’s chagrin, but he couldn’t legally do shit, so :-P) and the doors opened to some very happy fans.

No one knew what to expect out of the show. Historically, New York/New Jersey based adult shows haven’t had the best track record. The East Coast Video Show that was held in Atlantic City every year died a slow, horrible death. You had a show at the Javits Center in NYC that did okay, but never returned. There was a flea-markety show across from Penn Station in New York that maybe attracted 5,000 people, and t hen the ill-fated East Coast edition of the Exotic Erotic Ball down at the Pier whose attendees could’ve fit in an Outback Steakhouse.  Would this show be better? Would the media attention help? Would the last minute move to Edison hurt? No one knew, but we were all surprised.

From the moment the doors opened to the public, EXXXOTICA New York had non-stop lines coming in.  Of course we are patting ourselves on the back, but we had the greatest stars in the business signing at our booth—Jesse Jane, Stormy Daniels, Bree Olson, Kayden Kross, Gianna Lynn,  Stoya, Sasha Grey, Hillary Scott, Teagan, Sunny Leone, Sunny Lane, Arianna Armani, Moxxie Maddron, Paola Rey, Lexxi Tyler, Penny Flame, Taryn Thomas, Roxy DeVille, Audrey Bitoni and more. It was a porn fan’s wet dream as the girls all signed autographs, posed for pics and were there to meet you.

During the show, the media blitz was insane. TV news crews went live from the show, newspaper reporters did interviews, Opie and Anthony did radio interviews, The Howard Stern television crew taped for a future show, and all in all over 300 media outlets from around the world came and covered the show and girls.

Each day we presented our now infamous Q&A panel, “Everything You Wanted To Know About Porn…” featuring the top stars in adult. Girls from the booth joined us on stage, as did others in attendance such as Gina Lynn, Tricia Devereaux, Travis Knight, Flower Tucci, Ron Jeremy and more. If you ever want to find out some cool shit and hear some funny mother fuckers like Penny Flame or Stormy Daniels, make sure you come down for one of these panels. We’ve actually been approached by some people about taking the panel on the road to colleges, so stay tuned.

The girls were all incredible, despite some “technical” issues, such as idiot limo drivers, fucked up car services from the airport, pushy reporters, and stupid shit like that. They all put in their time signing and most went way above the time they had to sign for just so they could meet fans.

I really want to mention that Jesse Jane gets the trooper award. She was doing a feature dance gig at The Harem Cabaret, which is about 45 minutes from the hotel we were at. The limo shows up about an hour late, then the driver gets lost and couldn’t drive worth a shit. I was on the phone with them as the driver was all over the road, and then got a call seconds after the asshole decided to hit a divider. Jesse wasn’t hurt, but was obviously shaken up. We called the police to find them, the GM of the club picked her up, and the girl still did her dance gigs. Now that’s fuckin’ pro!

On Monday, everyone pretty much headed back home, except for my friends Stormy Daniels, Mike Moz, Jesse Jane, Rick Patrick, J. Handy and some others. We decided to catch one of the last games at Yankee Stadium as they had never been to the Cathedral of Baseball. We caught the Yanks beating the White that had all the makings of a great game. We had great seats by the on-deck circle, saw Mariano Rivera come out to “Enter Sandman,” to close out the game, hot dogs, Cracker Jacks and more. They put Jesse on the Diamond Vision dancing to “YMCA,” had a welcome to Stormy on the scoreboard, and they all had a great time. It was a great way to end a great weekend.

All in all, around 18,000 people came through the doors over the three days at EXXXOTICA New York easily making it the most successful show to ever hit the NY/NJ area, but we are eternally thankful to the 18 or so girls who helped make the show a success for us. Thank you to all of the stars, the companies and people behind the scenes like Digital Playground’s Adella, Adam & Eve’s Katy Zvolerin, The Star Factory’s Mike Moz and Monstar, Dirrty, Josh, Pip, Larissa from The Spread Group, Derek Hay from L.A. Direct Models, Gabe and his crew, Jac, Steve Prue and anyone else who helped out. You guys fuckin’ rocked and we hope to see you next year!

There’s been a bit of controversy stirred up by none other than our little hillbilly pal down in Georgia, Mike South. He posted a blog yesterday talking about porn stars not writing their own columns. Here’s what South had to say:

Now we have publicists though who write what are really press releases and advertisements in the name of their contract girls, I have yet to read Bree Olsen’s column in Genesis Magazine but I will bet my last dollar she doesn’t write a word of it, Ditto columns written under Jesse Janes name, let’s be honest here if these pornchicks could write they wouldn’t be porn chicks.

This comment from Mike stemmed a retort of sorts (if you can call it that) over at LukeFord.com where the “if I get on a chair and scream in WordPress setting for ‘Heading 1,’ someone might hear me” blogger at that site, Ryan Rayzer, had this to say:

Why is Mike South calling Jesse Jane a fraud? How does he know she doesn’t write her own shit? And even if she doesn’t, why call her out on it? What’s he have against her to try and harm her reputation? Same with Bree Olson? But here is the best line of them all from his little rant ….

That line speaks volumes about his feelings towards the women in this industry and it’s to bad really because I’ve met some smart ass bitches in this business that have no problem writing their own shit.

Guess what Rayzer, you just called them “bitches.” That’s a real compliment! Don’t worry, though. I promise, I won’t call you stupid, Ryan.

AND LukeIsBack.com’s Darrah Ford (is she married to Luke? lol), who guests there from PornStarBabylon, also put in her two cents on the subject and contacted us for a quote from Bree about her writing prowess.

First, let me say that by no means are these girls stupid. They’re both intelligent and anyone would see that if they spent a few minutes speaking with them in a reality setting. Porn in general has a lot of intelligent women in it. I would say the ratio I have encountered who are smart versus the dumb ones isn’t any worse than any other profession. Hell, I think the majority are smarter than most in other facets of the industry.

Now to set the record straight on the main subject at hand, and that is, “do porn stars write their own columns?” I know that if you read either of these diatribes on the twin “Luke” sites, you wouldn’t be able to tell that’s what the issue was, but let’s get back to the heart of the matter.

The answer is, at least with the publications I head up, mostly a yes. I’ll explain, so stick with me here. For the columns, I will go on record and tell you that for the most part, the girls in these magazines do write and/or contribute to their own columns. Do they write 100% of what you see? Some do. Is what you see in print verbatim from what they have submitted? Some or most. Stormy as an example is a very accomplished writer. She writes the screenplays for many of Wicked’s movies. Jenna Haze is answering the questions posed to her in our advice column in her own words. Tera submits her columns via her personal email. She might have an assistant or someone type as she dictates, but they are her thoughts and words. Bree might not totally write her column, but she helped develop the original concept, and they are her fantasies coming to life with her thoughts and ideas in them as relayed to the write. And I can honestly tell you that Jesse Jane has sat there for countless hours in front of her computer and written various things that have appeared in our publications over the years.

We, and I mean that as anyone working within the adult industry, sell fantasy. It’s the nature of the biz. How many guys are convincing their girlfriends to perform a DP? How many couples are jetting off to a tropical paradise and having sex under a waterfall with a beautiful girl like Jesse Jane or Tera Patrick? How many 50-year-old men are bedding down a barely legal girl like Bree Olson? Getting facials or anal?

Porn is fuckin’ fantasy people, so why try to explain it? Do you watch a movie like Girls Taking it Up the Ass #194 and say, “Wait a second? I didn’t see her do an enema or say ‘ouch’ or ‘take it easy’ once before she took an eight inch cock in her ass!” It’s fuckin’ fantasy people. If you do, you’re also probably one of those guys that sit behind me during a Superman movie and ask why he didn’t just wear a lead suit so he can be totally impervious to Kryptonite. You’re also then one of those guys I want to elbow right in the grill.

How many guys jerked off to a “Forum” letter? Did you wonder while you were strokin’ it that maybe some 6′5″, 240 lb., goateed and tattooed, 40-year-old ugly mutha wrote the damn thing or did the 5′5″, 110 lb., cute, girl next door who is 19 years old and has a shaved smooth pussy who got willingly double teamed in the dorm really write it? Some questions are best left unanswered. The other question would be that if choice “A” wrote it, are you gay because you came? But that’s a whole other debate

I went off on a bit of a rant, but let’s get back to the main question here. In the past we have had porn star columnists that have included Taylor Wane, Houston, Jasmin St. Claire and Carmen Luvana. We presently have Tera Patrick, Bree Olson, Jenna Haze and Gina Lynn contributing to Genesis and Stormy Daniels in Velvet. I also want to mention that girls like Jesse Jane, Joanna Angel, Sunny Lane and others have contributed stories/articles/whatever in the past as well.

These same concepts apply to a biography. Yes, people use ghost writers, but is it less them because they used a different adjective to describe something? Are they “stupid” because maybe someone else put their ideas and experiences on paper? That’s a resounding “no.” If a star does an interview for a mag, but she didn’t type it out, is it less her? Is it less her that a writer put it into a narrative form, rather a question or answer format? Politicians, athletes, celebrities, etc. have speech writers for press conference statements or quotes in releases and bios. Their message is getting across regardless of who wrote them.

We have used tons of contributing writers over the years from various walks of life for various written works — porn stars, housewives, moonlighting comedians and accountants, and “writers” with masters degrees from major universities in English. I can’t remember one of them that didn’t go to a copy editor and come back untouched for both content and grammatical corrections.

So to sum all this up, yes they write their own columns in some way, shape or form, at least in my mags.

Summer officially beings on June 20th, but adult superstar Gina Lynn is getting an early start on the hottest season of the year. With numerous dance gigs throughout the country, a busy shooting schedule and the grand opening of her own clothing store, it will be a crazy summer for one of the busiest women in the adult industry. That busy summer will conclude with a huge party in Jamaica during Hedonism III.

Her busy summer comes on the heels of Gina’s recent appearance on WE Network’s “Secret Lives of Women.” The piece covered the lives of some of adult entertainment’s biggest stars including Miss Lynn.

“I am so proud to be part of this piece,” said Gina. “Mainstream TV programs usually like to make women in our industry look stupid or paint them as victims. This was nothing like that. It showed that we are business women with minds and lives of our own.”

Gina heads off to Florida next week where she will be shooting new scenes, enjoying the sun and taking in the local flavor before heading west to Texas. The Red Parrott Club in El Paso Texas will host Gina’s stunning stage show from July 10th - 12th. Home of the hottest features shows in Texas, the Red Parrott Club knows how to treat stars and Gina knows how to treat an audience.

“I love performing live,” says Gina. “The energy you get from a live crowd is like nothing else. When you get the right club and the right crowd it can be a memorable night and I try to bring everyone something they won’t forget. ”

After conquering the southern heat, Gina will continue her packed July schedule in Rhode Island for a two-night stop in Providence. New England’s number one adult entertainment complex, The Foxy Lady will host two Gina shows on both nights.

Finishing off her busy summer, Gina will be Jamaica for Hedonism III. During the Labor Day weekend event, she will be hosting special evens in the Gina Lynn Party Suite. Capping off the weekend, Gina will be hosting a red-hot wet t shirt contest. Come celebrate the end of summer with Gina in Jamaica.

The WE (Women’s Entertainment) Network’s “Secret Lives of Women” takes an intimate look at what women are like behind closed doors.  It often explores sexuality in a frank and sometimes eye-opening manner.  In an upcoming episode, the show will examine the private and public lives of three of the most successful and influential women in the adult film industry.

Prominently featured in the episode are Tera Patrick, Gina Lynn and Nicki Hunter.  All three women are successful performers on screen and as feature dancers.  They have also moved on to success behind the camera with their own production companies.  “Secret Lives” followed Tera, Gina and Nicki around with camera crews, taped at various events and did extensive interviews.  In an effort to explore beyond the obvious, the “Secret Lives” crew delved into more than just the usual ‘porn star’ interviews.  They talked about business, the pressure of fame and how a woman can balance a career in adult entertainment with a family.

Already a huge star, Tera Patrick has branched out well beyond adult films to become one of the most powerful women in the industry.  Tera is a star on the dance circuit, runs her own production company, Teravision, and has her own line of sexy lingerie, Mistress Couture.  Tera also gave the crew unprecedented access to her family to offer a new perspective on one of the world’s leading sex symbols.

“No one in my family has done any on-camera interviews until now,” said Tera Patrick.  “They wanted to interview my younger sister Debbie and get a different point of view.  She was happy to do the piece.  Debbie sees my life from a different side and offers things that industry people can’t.  She puts some rumors to rest and apparently tells some secrets as well.  You’ll have to tune into the episode to see.”

Gina Lynn, whose mainstream credits include “The Sopranos,” Eminem’s “Superman” music videos and several films. Is no stranger to the non-adult side of the business. The cameras followed her as she got a body cast done.  “They followed me around in Las Vegas for the Adult Entertainment Expos which was crazy.  We had them around for the body cast as well.  I’ve done it a few times before.  The artist uses the molds to make art pieces and sells them for charity.”

Nicki Hunter, who battled with leukemia last year and has come back into the adult film industry, is also featured. My publicist told me they were looking for performers with interesting stories and thought I would be perfect for the episode,” said Hunter.  “It was very exciting.  The WE network has a great reputation and I knew this wouldn’t be the normal hatchet piece.  They wanted to know about more than just Nicki Hunter the porn star.  I am also a businesswoman, a wife and a mother.  We talked about my company, my battle with leukemia and my relationship with my husband.  “I like that they focused on my family, that I can still have sex with other people, enjoy what I do and have a healthy, loving relationship with my husband.”

Even though yesterday was slated to be one of the shorter days of Erotica LA, it was definitely a long one. The show was crowded with fans, and there were lots of stars on hand to meet them. We were lucky enough to get there EARLY and set up the F.A.M.E. booth and have a little production meeting about the F.A.M.E. Awards. That’s set to happen tonight (Saturday) at 9pm with a Red Carpet at 7:30 that will have some surprise guests.

Yesterday I got to see a bunch of people I don’t get to spend time with that much because of our geographical differences, so that was cool. I only got bitched at 4 times by a star (names withheld) where she was placed on the Hot 100, and two stars who I hadn’t heard from yet were even nice enough to thank me (Alexis Amore and Moxxie Maddron) for including them.

The day was pretty uneventful with no major drama, fun stories or general meltdowns. Adam & Eve contract stars Bree Olson, Kayden Koss and Ava Rose, and the always-lovely Gianna Lynn signed at the F.A.M.E. booth for most of the evening. Thanks to Monstar, Leslie, Katy, Anh, Dusty and Danny for helping out over there. But generally speaking, it was the calm before the storm that will be today and tonight with F.A.M.E.

Yesterday was just a good day (despite the toe pain) seeing friends like Tera and Evan, Taylor Wane, Belladonna and Aiden, Karen Stagliano, Sasha Grey, Bree, Kayden and Ava, Gina Lynn and Travis, Joanna Angel, Jenna Haze and Jules, Stormy, Moz, Evan Stone, Ray and Nina Mercedez and lots of others I’m leaving out.

The highlight of the day was moderating our panel, “Everything you wanted to know about porn” which was definitely our most star-studded one yet. Holly Randall, Bree Olson, Sasha Grey, Penny Flame, Stormy, Tera, Evan Seinfeld and Evan Stone kept the crowd entertained for over an hour answering their questions, telling stories from the world of porn and all that comes with being porn stars (and great photographers). Pretty much everyone up there was not only informative and thoroughly professional, but it was great for anyone who is a fan of XXX to see how these people truly are and that’s intelligent, well-spoken, friendly and funny as fuck. Thanks to all of them for taking time at the end of a long day to do this. It was definitely great.

If you’re in the L.A. area, make sure to come down to the show tonight. It’s going to be great. I’ll be hitting Playboy Radio on Sirius at some point today with a couple of stars to talk about F.A.M.E., so it’s time to get ready and head down to the convention center, so let the madness begin.

I just got news of something that really pisses me off on a personal level, as well as a moral one. Let me start this blog by saying this is solely my opinon and does not or should not reflect my employers, or anyone else associated with this URL.

My friend Brian Gross of BSG Public Relations, uses a little service that many publicists in various industries use called Constant Contact, to facilitate the distribution of his press releases via e-mail. Now mind you, their service is far from cheap. but when your press list is as large as someone’s like Brian’s is, it’s kind of a necessary evil. The larger your list, the more expensive it is, so on and so forth.

In Brian’s busy schedule he volunteers his time, like I do, to support a charity called b.a.b.e.: breast awareness benefits everyone. I lost my mother, grandmother, aunts, etc. to breast cancer, and Marcia Hrichison’s (she’s a breast cancer survivor) non-profit charity raises money to aid in awareness and early detection of the horrible disease to help save the lives of women. Brian is the pro-bono publicist for b.a.b.e., as well as serving on their board of advisors, as I also do. We both have put countless hours into events, fund raising efforts, etc. for this charity because it is an amazing cause and insidious disease we both want to see eradicated from the planet.

Countless adult stars have joined us over the years such as Taylor Wane, Tera Patrick, Jesse Jane, Stormy Daniels, Joanna Angel, Jenna Haze, Nautica Thorn, Sunny Lane, Gina Lynn, Katie Morgan, just to name but a few. Various companies have lended both their personal and financial resources in support of b.a.b.e. such as Paul Fishbein and AVN, HotMovies.com, Marci Hirsch and Vivid, Samantha Lewis and Adella at Digital Playground, Steve O. at Wicked Pictures, Kim at Pink Visual, Atlas Multimedia, Booble, WantedList, Katy at Adam and Eve, the late Pam Anderson and Metro, and the list goes on and on there, too. Hell, even major corporate brands and mainstream stars have lent their support one way or another such as A.J. from the Backstreet Boys, Evan Seinfeld, Coolio, Chastity Bono, the Grammy Awards, Gene Simmons, Sebastian Bach, Jason Bonham, Gibson Guitars, Ivan Kane’s 40 Deuce Club, and the list continues there as well.

I personally became involved with the charity shortly after my mother passed away from breast cancer and “mainstream” charities wouldn’t take money I could raise through the adult community because of its source, but that’s a whole other story and you get the point, so now back to this story…

So Brian uses Constant Contact, and they contact him today informing him that several images in his library are “offensive” and/or “inappropriate” to them, and they must be deleted right away or they will suspend or cancel his account. Now mind you, I’ve been getting these releases with said images for years and I have to constantly search my library or ask Brian for something more offensive. I know their threats aren’t veiled. They have canceled other accounts such as April Storm’s in the past and warned me about using them because of my posts during my “trial” period, and when that happens, it’s a major pain the ass setting up your list once again with another service.

So Brian is on the phone with their customer service sow, who is going through his image library one by one. She gets to the b.a.b.e. logo you see on top of this post, and tells him that this must be deleted as well, as it’s offensive. It’s a fuckin’ cartoon of Taylor Wane in a bikini. So they are essentially saying that if Touchstone Pictures or Walt Disney put out a press release with them touting some kind of Who Framed Roger Rabbit thing with an image of Jessica Rabbit, that would be offensive? It’s basically the same type of imagery. Wait, it’s even less — we don’t even get to see Taylor’s cute little ass here! So how is it offensive? Because a publicist who also works for porn companies has it? Because it’s in a media library with a Joanna Angel picture or Pink Visual logo?

Brian tried explaining to them this was a charity, what they do and that this is their logo. What is he supposed to use now? They don’t care. It’s offensive. It must be deleted.

You know what’s offensive to me? Constant Contact. Delete them. Go fuck yourselves! Is that offensive? I think not.

GINA LYNN PUTS HERSELF ON THE AUCTION BLOCK FOR THE SKYLAR NEIL MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

People love to get behind a good cause. That has long been true of the Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament.  After the death of his five-year old daughter Skylar, international rock star Vince Neil set up the tournament to raise money for charitable organizations dedicated to research and treatment of Cancer, Leukemia, AIDS and other children’s illnesses.

After losing his five-year-old daughter Skylar to cancer in 1995, Vince dedicated himself to raising awareness and much needed funding for children’s illnesses.  The Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament is a product of those efforts, and the 12th annual event is right around the corner.  With generous support from both the mainstream and adult entertainment world, the tournament has raised nearly two-million dollars for various charitable organizations dedicated to Cancer, Leukemia and AIDS research.  This year’s collection of unique memorabilia for the auction is better than ever, and a number of adult stars are slated to greet golfers out on the course.

Superstar adult entertainer Gina Lynn is going one step further.  She is literally putting herself on the auction block for the cause.  Before the first group tees off, there will be a special auction with Gina as the prize.  The group with the highest bid will have Gina along with them for the entire 18 holes.

“This is such a great cause,” said Gina.  “I wanted to do something really special. Hopefully spending the day with a fun adult film star will appeal to these guys and we can raise some money for the charity.  Hopefully it will be warm that day so I can dress appropriately.  If it’s chilly I’m sure I can find a way to heat things up.”

A skilled golfer in her own right, Gina will be more than just a celebrity caddy and eye candy.  She will be joining the group and playing as a member of their team. “Maybe I can even offer a few pointers and if not, I hear I look pretty good swinging the club,” adds Gina.

The special pre-tournament auction takes place just before tee time (11:00 am), so if you’re playing in the tournament, make sure to get their early to bid on this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Before the doors opened on Day Two of Exxxotica Miami, the sun wasn’t the only hot thing of the day. The girls were ready to tackle the long show hours, and the fans were already lined up to enter the hall when we arrived. Day One saw the best Friday of the show’s history, so Saturday should far surpass that…

Jesse Jane got there and immediately was doing various interviews for the South Florida media, as was Stormy Daniels. Fans lined up in anticipation of meeting not only the pair of XXX superstars, but also the rest of our all-star porn contingent. With a line that stretched out and was steady throughout the signing times, no one left empty handed as the girls all signed, posed and chatted with the throngs of fans there to see them. Jenna Haze quickly sold out of her merchandise, and Eva Angelina sold everything from her chart-topping movies to puzzles, clocks and clipboards with her pretty face and perfect pair on them.

Jesse, Adella, Mike Moz and myself were asked to judge the Ms. Exxxotica contest finals (which Jesse also ably co-hosted). We watched as 10 of the area’s hottest chicks paraded around the stage wearing their sexiest bikinis in hopes of winning the $2,000 and the title. Angela Summers was the lucky winner, and the girl actually cried when her name was called. Who says the world is cynical?

Next up were the first Ammy Awards sponsored by X-Tube which Gina Lynn and Travis Knight ably hosted. Digital video cams were handed out to winners of the amateur film contest and were given out by a plethora of porn’s top stars.

By the time the show ended, everyone was wiped out and hungry. I headed to dinner at China Grill with a group that included Adam and Eve contract stars Bree Olson and Kayden Kross, and we dined on some sushi and anything else the place brought out for an amazing (and entertaining) dinner.

Later that night there was a party at Forge hosted by Jesse and Gina Lynn that was packed. The Forge is easily one of the most popular spots in South Beach and it was even more crowded with this pair of blonde hotties welcoming the club goers.

Everything finally wound down at god knows what time, and there was one day left…

DAY THREE

Everyone woke up tired, but excited for the last day of the show. There was lots more people to meet, some more merchandise to sign, and more pics to pose for, and all of the girls were up for the challenge.

The lines to meet the group of porn stars was steady all day, but we had to take a break. A couple of us were outside talking about the upcoming Exxxotica New York show (September 12-14), when we saw a woman with two little monkeys heading over to another show. We hijacked the cute little guys and brought them over to the booth for the stars to meet. They were more excited than a fan was meeting Jesse!

The girls all took a few minutes to pose for pictures with the monkeys like kids in a candy store. So if you’re ever wondering the way to a porn star’s heart, it’s not with adoration, money, sexual offers or anything like that… just get her a monkey!

In the afternoon, we took a group that included Belladonna, Sasha Grey, Stormy Daniels, Taylor Wane, Bree Olson, Kayden Kross, Karen Stagliano and Nautica Thorn to the stage for another all-star Q&A panel. The fans had tons of great questions again and Mike Moz and I moderated as they asked and the girls answered. Things got a little emotional for everyone when we discussed the upcoming obscenity indictments for Evil Angel, and everyone was urged to head to www.DefendOurPorn.org to lend their support.

By the time the day finally ended and that was it for the show, we all headed back to our hotel for a last supper before everyone packed to head back home Monday morning. We shared some drinks, great food and laughs before everyone said goodbye until next time we all meet.

All in all it was an incredible weekend that saw the show have its best one yet. Over 20,000 fans came to Exxxotica this year, and we want to thank all of them. We also want to thank J. Handy, Grace, Ami, Pat, Josh, Kyle and Brian for all of their help and hospitality of having us down. So we have one day down and two to go here in beautiful South Beach. Day one of Exxxotica Miami Beach saw record setting numbers for the consumer convention which has entered its third year, and in large part to the contingent of huge stars signing at the show’s Fantasy Island booth sponsored by yours truly, Genesis!

The day started off early with a bunch of the girls from the show hitting Miami radio. Gina Lynn, Nautica Thorn and Kayden Kross went over to Power 96 to talk to the morning crew there, while Jesse Jane called into 93 Rock and Stormy Daniels, Bree Olson and Lexi Love hit sports talk station the Fan. Stormy followed it up with taping an interview with popular TV show “Deco Drive.”

All of the girls were great and they were selling DVDs, signing autographs and posing for pics for lines of fans from the time the doors opened at 4, until it was time to head back to our hotel at 11 at night. Stormy Daniels offered up a bunch of her movies including Operation Desert Stormy, Jenna Haze was on hand showing off her award-winning ass, Joanna Angel charmed the masses, Adam and Eve’s contract stars Bree Olson and Kayden Kross did much of the same, as did Nautica Thorn, Lisa Sparxxx, Moxxie Maddron, Eva Angelina and Roxy DeVille.

We also had a bunch of friends of the mag stop by the booth, including Mike South, Kitty (who appeared in our Sex Star Hunt contest a while back), Tony Batman of A! Entertainment, Karen Stagliano/Tricia Devereaux of Evil Angel, Tommy Gunn, New Sensations star Ashlynn Brooke, Danny Mountain, Lee Stone, Lexi Lamour, Zoe Britton, Nikki Rhodes, Nakita Kash, Dave Michaels of Lee Network and more. Also, big props to the folks who helped us out: Monstar, Mike Moz, Katy Zvolerin from Adam and Eve, and anyone else who I am forgetting.

We stopped over at Tera’s booth and saw our esteemed publisher who is looking as incredible as ever. She also has some brand new ink on her arm — a full sleeve tattoo! She had Sasha Grey and Charmane Star over there. We visited with Belladonna over at the Evil Angel booth, the always amazing Taylor Wane and photographer Laurien at her booth and some others.

Anyway, the girls were all signing, meeting the fans and having a great day/night all the way around. We did our “Everything You Wanted to Know About Porn” all-star panel which I moderated with the help of The Star Factory publicist Mike Moz and Tony Batman who was out in the crowd fielding the questions for our panel from the tons of fans who hit the main stage to hear.

The panel is basically a live talk show where fans can ask anyone up there anything they want. We of course got the usual questions like how you get into the biz, do they have orgasms, etc. But all the questions were great and so were our panelists: Kayden, Bree, Ashlynn, Tommy, South, Karen Stagliano, Nautica, Joanna Angel, Zoe, Lexi and Nikki. We’ll be posting some video of it later on for sure.

After the show we all headed over to Mansion for Stormy’s killer party. The place was packed, the girls danced (which is always nice to watch). A lot of fun was had for those who were lucky enough to be there in South Beach’s hottest club. We’ll leave the rest to the imagination of the after party that followed the after party!
