Digital Playground contract star Riley Steele will appear on the Howard Stern Show for the very first time on Thursday, February 25. Tune in LIVE to Howard Stern on Sirius XM channel 100 beginning at 6AM EST with repeated shows all day long.  The interview will also air on Howard TV, the ever popular and uncensored On Demand channel, part of the iN-Demand Networks. Her segment will air on all Howard TV cable channels this Friday, February 26 at Midnight EST and will continue to run for one month.

Various news sources are now reporting on a story that broke in the New York Post’s “Page Six” column today that comedian and “Howard Stern Show” co-host Artie Lange is recovering from a suicide attempt.

Lange was discovered by his mother who came by his Hoboken, NJ apartment on Saturday morning and she called 911 when she found her son who was covered in blood. It’s being reported that Artie stabbed himself nine times — six of which are being called “hesitation wounds” — and he was rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery to stop the heavy bleeding. No official word has been given if he had any damage to any organs.

It was first reported on TMZ.com on Sunday morning that Artie was rushed to the hospital, but no reason was given at that time. An associate of Lange said, “”I can confirm that Artie is in the hospital. Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment.”

Artie has discussed many times on the show and in various interviews about his on-again/off-again battles with alcohol, heroin and other vices. He had been absent from the show for several weeks, and many assumed he was battling his well-publicized addictions. Howard Stern talked about Lange’s addiction issues on the air earlier this week before this news was made public, “”We all have our demons. Artie has given this show tremendous moments of great comedy. He’s a tremendous contributor. He is a good man. Don’t forget how great he is.”

Friend, fellow comedian and Stern show regular, Rev. Bob Levy, said in a statement, “I hope Artie gets better then ever and realizes what a gift life is and can get the right help. I can’t believe the news I heard today. Everyone goes through depression, as I do, but the main thing is to do whatever you can to get better. Good luck Artie and come back stonger then ever.”

From AVN.com: Just about everyone knows that radio personality Howard Stern is a fan of porn, and Thursday morning he’ll be hosting two of the leading lights of the industry: AVN owner Paul Fishbein and former Adam & Eve contract star Kayden Kross.

The purpose of the appearance is to promote the Adult Entertainment Expo, scheduled for Jan. 7-10 at the Sands Expo Center, and the AVN Awards show which will be held Saturday night, Jan. 9 at the Palms Casino Resort—and one lucky fan will be able to win free admission to both and a round-trip plane ticket for him/herself and a friend.

“Howard’s people are handling all the arrangements,” Fishbein told AVN.com. “They’re doing a ‘Sorriest Virgin’ contest. The guy with the worst, saddest story will get a trip for two to Vegas to go to the Adult Entertainment Expo and the AVN Awards.”

What? No free night at a bordello for the “sorriest virgin”?

“Hey, the guy may bring a girl; who knows?” Fishbein retorted when asked. “But they can do whatever they want when they get there.”

Thursday will mark Kayden’s first appearance on the Stern show.

“There were a couple of times I was invited to be on,” Kross explained, “but for various reasons, they fell through, so I’ve never actually been on the show. This’ll be the first one to go through.”

Kross will be co-hosting the Award show with Wicked Pictures’ contract star Kirsten Price.

“I’m so excited, both that I’m co-hosting the show, and that I’m appearing on Howard Stern,” she continued. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m obviously nervous—I have no idea what he’s going to ask me— but I think it’ll be one of those things I’ll never forget.”

The Kross/Fishbein segment is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Eastern time on Thursday, or shortly thereafter, and the entire show will be repeated for the Pacific time zone, so Left Coast fans can tune in at 7:30 a.m. their time as well. The segment is also being videotaped for Howard TV, and repeats of the segment can be heard throughout the day on Howard 100/101 at HowardStern.com.

Adam & Eve Pictures Contract Star To Cut The Ribbon and Open Show Floor.

“Anthropology’s Loss is Our Gain,” Says Popular Fan Site!
