Jennifer Larsen, former talent coordinator at Hustler and PR and marketing manager at Digital Playground, passed away from an apparent suicide on Sunday.

The Orange County coroner confirmed to XBIZ that the cause of death was a perforating gunshot wound to the head.

After leaving Digital Playground, Larsen worked for the U.S. Army National Guard.

Long-time friend and colleague James Bartholet said that he was not aware of any severe depression that Larsen was going through around the time of her death. They last spoke at an adult trade show in January.

“I thought we were going to hear from Jennifer,” Bartholet said. “She said, ’I’ve got a leave or something coming up and I’m going to come and visit with you guys.’ That was a month or two ago.

“I never heard from her and then the tragic news — one of our mutual friends called me last night. He said that she passed away. And as I was doing more investigation into this, it seems that she committed suicide.

“She was just a really wonderful person,” Bartholet added. “She was a really hard worker. She was always a good person to hang out with.”

Bartholet also noted that Larsen was a mother and that the incident occurred on Mother’s Day.

“Being a parent myself, I’m just shocked that she would do something like that because these kids are going to be scarred for the rest of their lives,” he said. “You know, Mother’s Day comes up and it’s going to be like ‘this is when my mother died.’”

Larsen studied at Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, and graduated from Pacifica High in Garden Grove, Calif. in 1995.

She was living in Orange County at the time of her death.

To helm the project, Moore and Sweet Mess Films co-founder Steviee Hughes decided to enlist the services of another acclaimed director, David Lord.

Hughes says, “We have been tossing around this idea of shooting this for a while, and when David Lord agreed to direct, everything just rolled perfectly into place.”

David Lord states, “I try not to work for a lot of people, but when Steviee asked me about this project I agreed.  She’s a great friend, plus it’s Breaking Bad, so how could I say no?  Reading Rodney’s intriguing interpretation of the show sealed the deal for me.”

The porn parody Not the Three Stooges XXX has soared up the national DVD sales charts hitting #5 in its first week of eligibility.  The spectacular chart debut coincides with a long-delayed release of a safe-for-work movie trailer which can be seen now at www.willryderproductions.com . A porn parody of The Three Stooges is ruffling feathers nationwide as the movie trailer for Not the Three Stooges XXX has been temporarily banned by lawyers.

“I’ve never seen anything like this before in my eleven years in the adult entertainment business,” stated the movie’s director Will Ryder referring to a war-of-words between his own legal advisors and the company that owns the licensing rights for the actual Three Stooges. Ryder seemed relaxed as he bit into a ham and cheese sandwich at Panera Bread in Studio City, California.

What is at stake could cut to the core of free speech so with that added responsibility and pressure, Will Ryder Productions has continued on with the business of releasing the parody movie via Pulse Distribution today.

“Will’s conceptualization of the Three Stooges is dead on and without question falls within the definition of what a true parody is and should be,” stated attorney Michael Fattorosi.

“James Bartholet nails Curly and thankfully nothing else in this movie but for now the trailer is off limits for public viewing.”

Exactly why the trailer is being banned by the attorneys is unknown to Will Ryder but there is a volley of legal activity between the two camps.

“This entire situation is quite exciting”, stated Robert Plarksi, the executive vice president of sales at Pulse Distribution who has been assigned the task of selling this movie.

“We knew it would be a hot topic of conversation but to see it on shows like TMZ and talked about in such an unlikely place as the Hollywood Reporter is amazing but I really wish I had that movie trailer right now to show my customers online but the orders are coming in pretty darn good.”

It seems that C3 Entertainment, the company that owns the licensing rights to The Three Stooges comedy team is furious that adult movie director Will Ryder is releasing a porn parody called Not the Three Stooges XXX which will hit stores next week and is threatening a heavy lawsuit that could alter the landscape of parody nationwide.  Legal analysts including the law department from NBC Television are weighing in and requesting copies of the movie for review.

“We are very concerned since we tend to do a lot of parody skits on SNL and are keeping one eye on this situation because it could severely alter what we do here at NBC,” stated attorney Don Middlesex who is a graduate of the Columbia School of Law and is also the senior law advisor for Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey.

Attorney Michael Fattorosi has been retained to represent Will Ryder Productions and sees firm precedent that his client is operating in full compliance within the law even though the other side is calling Ryder’s actions BS.

“”We requested that they carefully review the cited cases and carefully consider their promised course of action. Any attempt by them to restrict my client’s protected First Amendment rights will be met with swift opposition by way of a motion under California Code of Civil Procedure Section 425.16, and if necessary a Motion for Summary Judgment in the Central District,” roared Fattorosi who is an Italian from New Jersey.

Harvard law professor Richard Holderbrook stated, “This will be an interesting case because the actors in not the stooges look awfully good especially Curly in the photo where Moe takes the table saw to Larry’s head but I think parody in this form is well protected and I can’t wait to see the movie.”

The implications of this potential suit reach far and wide especially with the mainstream Three Stooges movie in theaters nationwide and many in porn valley are looking closely at the evolving situation but one producer is not concerned.

“We don’t do parodies, we only do real porn,” stated Jules Jordan who has avoided parodies but not lawsuits.

“I’ve never had so many requests for DVDs and our sales orders are growing each day,” Ryder said from his office at Hollywood & Vine.

Peter Farrelly of the famous Farrelly Brothers duo that includes his brother Bobby was basking in the glow of an impressive opening week at the box office for the 20th Century Fox release The Three Stooges when he was informed of the porn parody.

“I hope they sue the pants off of those perverts.  I’m sure the girls’ pants will be off even without a lawsuit.”

An unscripted unplanned spontaneous orgy broke out on the set of Three Stooges XXX during the final hours of filming at a San Fernando Valley studio shocking crew members who couldn’t believe what they were witnessing.

“I’ve been working on adult movie sets a long time but I’ve never seen anything like this,” stated Big Sean who was a gaffer on director Will Ryder’s crew.

“It was a very long day and I thought the cast was extremely tired considering it was quite late,” Ryder recalled.

“We were waiting on Tanner Mayes to arrive and were about to shoot a boy/girl sex scene on a big living room mansion set followed by a climactic dialogue scene when one thing led to another and before I knew it, the entire cast started to get-it-on with each other.”

“At first I didn’t know what to make of it and I almost stopped everybody but I kept my mouth shut because I could see that the cast was really horny. The boy/girl sex scene turned into a ten person orgy of soothing oral pleasure and intoxicating intercourse. It was absolutely amazing.”

Blockbuster Vivid Parody Gets 16 AVN Award Nominations

The incredible success of Vivid’s high-budget superhero spoof Spider-Man XXX: A Porn Parody, may be attributed to a modern version of the old-fashioned gossip grapevine, according to porn-parody king/director Axel Braun.  The movie has been nominated for 16 AVN Awards at the upcoming show in Las Vegas.

“I knew we had struck a chord when several famous comic book writers and artists, and even a much-celebrated mainstream director, contacted me out of the blue to tell me how much they enjoyed the adult movie parody. The cast of the adult movie Beverly Hillbillies a XXX Parody is looking forward to a January Las Vegas trip to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino that hopefully will culminate with some AVN award trophies and some wild memories.  The movie was heavily nominated by AVN.

Kagney Linn Karter leads a stellar cast that is capturing the hearts of fans nationwide with their accurate and completely believable cast portrayals of the famous television show The Beverly Hillbillies which ran on CBS in the early 1960s.

Kagney brilliantly plays the buxom rube Ellie Mae to perfection and has been recognized with an AVN award nomination for “Best Supporting Actress.”

“I’ m happy with everything about Beverly Hillbillies and we had so much fun making it.  You just knew it was special from the moment we walked on set,” Kagney offered just before heading off to a spa treatment in Hollywood.

“This is really a fun movie to watch and I’m very proud of all of our nominees,” stated Adam & Eve Pictures general manager Bob Christian.

Many from the cast share these sentiments as they have picked up award nominations at a daring pace.

Dana DeArmond earns an AVN nomination for “Best Supporting Actress” for her spot-on portrayal of Miss Jane. Haley Hewes earns a nomination for “Best Non-Sex Performance” for her pitch-perfect rendition of the lovable Granny.

“This is my first time in an adult movie and to be recognized by AVN is really special,” Hewes a mainstream actress by trade admitted.

“Nobody wanted to see Granny getting laid,… well I did but nobody else was up for that so we made it an acting role,” Will Ryder reminisced.

Veteran actor Otto Bauer is no dummy but you’d never know it after watching him play Jethro Bodine.  The six foot three inch actor became the lovable Jethro through sheer determination and laser-like direction.

“I really wanted to play this role and to see the hard work of so many cast members being rewarded like this is really fantastic,” Bauer offered just before taking off his pants to have sex with an 18 year old porn starlet from Kentucky.

Even internet sensation Gary Lee proved that he is a versatile actor earning a non-sex nomination for his authentic hillbilly twang and portrayal of Jed Clampett.

Adam & Eve Delivers Hit Comedy Packed with Outstanding Acting Performances; New Trailer Offered from X-Play

Kagney Linn Karter deserves the many acting accolades she is starting to receive for her jubilant portrayal of Ellie Mae Clampett in Adam & Eve Pictures and X-Play’s hilarious Beverly Hillbillies a XXX Parody.  The blond sex star delivers her most enjoyable comedy performance ever putting her name at the top of the list of best actresses this year in adult movies.

Kagney transforms into the critter-loving rube Ellie Mae Clampett delivering a character so authentic it is hard to know where the TV show ends and the porno begins.

“Absolutely believable,” is how adult movie director Will Ryder described the blond from Missouri’s stab at the famous classic television character.

“I ask is there a better comedy performance by a woman this year?”

In fact many from the cast turned in acting performances so authentic you’ll think you were watching a lost episode of the show.

“It’s easy to say wow she’s really great but unless you actually watch the movie, you have no idea that this girl is Ellie Mae,” opined the movie’s co-producer Scott David.

Beyond Kagney are a number of cast members that live up to the hype of the classic show’s beloved characters that award nominations are already building up from esteemed organizations such as XBiz. The AVN Award nominations are about to be announced and hopes are they will cement Beverly Hillbillies XXX as a best comedy favorite in the popular parody category and Kagney as the Best Actress winner.

“In order to make a successful movie you have to start with actors that can deliver believable performances with an honest script,” stated Will Ryder.

“There are a number of really great female acting performances this year including two from our camp.  Andy San Dimas as Adrian in Rocky XXX is really wonderful so I’m glad I don’t have to choose the winner but the thing I enjoy most is seeing the actor forget they’re a porn star and open up to the possibility of becoming the character from the TV show or movie.  That’s when you know you did your job as a director because your actor felt comfortable enough to believe in you to let them roam freely.  It really is rare when this happens but when it does you know you’re creating something special.”

“In retrospect I would not have wanted to make Beverly Hillbillies XXX without Kagney as Ellie Mae,” Ryder said.

The 2010 AVN “Director of the Year” knows a thing or two about getting porn actors to become great screen actors having assisted numerous stars to significant award victories over the years including “Best Actor,” “Best Actress” and “Best Supporting Actress” with movies that have gone on to win multiple awards including three straight years of taking home the prize for best non-sex performance.

Other performances in Beverly Hillbillies XXX deserve praise including that by gonzo sex stud Otto Bauer who has already earned a nomination from XBiz as “Best Actor” for his spot-on portrayal of Jethro Bodine.

“This was such a fun role to play as I was allowed to be quite stupid plus I got to bang Annie Cruz,” Bauer joked.

A fantastic non-sex performance by Hollywood actress Haley Hewes as the cantankerous Granny is raising eyebrows and might continue X-Play’s tradition of winning that non-sex performance award.

“Haley Hewes which by the way is not her real acting name carries on our tradition of amazing non-sex actors.  She’s out of this world as Granny and funny as hell.  She should definitely be in the conversation to receive the AVN Award nomination I would think and the combination of her and Ellie Mae is priceless.”

The venerable James Bartholet takes off his pants and turns in perhaps his best-supporting acting role as Mr. Drysdale.  Already an XBiz nominee, Bartholet is skilled at comedy and is a mainstay in many of the top parody movies and the 2011 AVN winner for his performance as Bosley in Not Charlie’s Angels XXX.

“Nobody communicates with actors better than Will Ryder,” Bartholet bellowed.

“Nobody stops listening and adlibs more than Bartholet,” countered Will Ryder.

Dana DeArmond tends to agree with Bartholet receiving a “Best Supporting Actress” nomination from XBiz for her portrayal of Miss Jane.

“It wasn’t until I started to work with Will that I really believed I could pull this off.  It was an amazing production to be a part of and he rode me really hard and I think some of my screw ups are in the bloopers but it was all worth it and I’m so happy to be nominated for a best supporting acting performance by XBiz,” Dana offered.

“Dana really did a great job and deserves to be talked about,” Ryder said.
