198 Million Google Searches Makes Her 14th Most-Searched Woman of 2012

Jenna Haze isn’t just the biggest star of her generation in the adult business, she is one of the biggest stars in the country.

Just how popular is Jenna Haze? Coed Magazine has compiled their annual list of the most searched-for women on Google and Jenna Haze came in at #14 for 2012, beating just about everyone, including household-names like Kate Middleton, Kim Karadashian, Megan Fox, Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson. “Jenna Haze” was typed into Google’s search engine a shocking 198 million times. Jenna came in just behind Paris Hilton and just ahead of Shakira. To put it in perspective, Angelina Jolie was searched for 103 million times—95 million times fewer than Jenna. No other adult star broke the top 40.

This is just more great news for Jenna Haze, who is nominated for several awards between the AVN and XBIZ Awards. AVN has her up for “Best All-Girl Release,” “Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene” and “Best Director – Non-Feature” for Jenna Haze, and “Crossover Star of the Year.” XBIZ has nominated her for “All-Girl Release of the Year.” All this for one title that she released this year, the megahit Meow! 2.

Adult star Allie Haze has announced her amicable departure from Vivid Entertainment after a yearlong stint at the studio. Interested in pursuing more diverse visibility, Haze is taking her career in a new direction.

The 2012 XRCO Hall of Fame Inductees have been announced. Among the nine names added to the illustrious list of industry elite are some of the most popular performers of the past decade, a golden age superstar and the most prolific adult film critic of the Internet era.

Adult star Jenna Haze appears in a new music video for The Pretty Reckless called “My Medicine.”

Last week the band — led by Haze’s friend Taylor Momsen — released the video for “My Medicine” and Haze pops up throughout, always scantily-clad and sometimes with a black bar blocking out what would be too-hot-for-TV.

There’s lots of drinking, smoking and writhing in the video featuring the award-winning starlet. Momsen and Haze are also showcased in a steamy layout in the current issue of FHM, which crowns Taylor the #1 “Hottest Newbie Music Girl of 2012.”

The 10-page feature and interview includes a full page of the two as well as other shots of Haze. The photographer for the shoot was former Page 3 Girl Zoe McConnell.

Haze recently announced her retirement from performing in adult movies after more than 10 years in front of the camera. She continues to producer and direct for her own company Jennaration X Studios, which is distributed by Jules Jordan Video.

Speculation has been brewing for months, but today Jenna Haze made it official: She has indeed decided the curtain is closed on her porn performing career, and announced as much to the world via a YouTube video posted to her Tumblr blog.

“I would like to take this opportunity to officially announce my retirement from adult,” Haze said in the video. “I am going to keep directing, but I am definitely done performing. I actually shot my last scene last April, so it’s been almost a year now, and I feel like it’s about time that I let you guys know that yes, I am in fact retired, and I wanted my fans to find out first, so that’s why I’m doing this video.”

Haze went on to say that she has multiple “non-adult related projects that I’m working on,” and that fans could continue following her exploits on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram.

This announcement comes just after Haze was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame at the 2012 AVN Awards ceremony last month, having reached the minimum 10-year mile marker for eligibility last summer. (Read AVN’s August cover story celebrating this achievement here.)

It also arrives mere days after she landed the cover of FHM magazine alongside rocker/actress buddy Taylor Momsen.

In a follow-up press release from Haze’s PR representatives, Rising Star PR, she elaborated, “I always said that I would give up performing if I wasn’t going to be into it 100 percent. Directing is where my heart is now. It’s allowed me to explore a creative side that is different from what performing has offered me. I am very satisfied with what I was able to accomplish in 10 years of performing, and now I’m enjoying the challenges of being on the other side of the camera and running my studio.”

In both the video and the press release, Haze offered special thanks to her loyal fans. “I’ve always had a very incredible and dedicated fanbase,” she said in the release. “I’ve been thrilled with the reception to the movies I’ve directed the past three years and I hope they’ll continue watching what I do at Jenneration X. I’m going to give them every reason to.”

Performing Three Nights at Blush This Weekend

The nights have been freezing in Pittsburgh, but little Jenna Haze is about to be a big blanket for the city, warming up fans who come see her this weekend at Blush and making them forget all about the weather as they focus entirely on her beauty and magnificent stage show.
