Riley Steele, the Digital Playground contract star, has called it quits.

In a feed tonight on her MobyPicture site, Steele said: “I just wanted to post an audio stating that i am quitting porn. I am not going to be do anything else.  I, as  well as BiBi Jones, have been promised a lot of things and i have not been owned up to anything. I am so sorry to all my fans and … I have to just let this go.”

Steele, before starting her adult film career worked at Starbucks and at a golf course snack bar, met porn star Jesse Jane at the signing for Pirates, where Jane advised her to get into the adult film business.

Steele later contacted Joone, founder of Digital Playground, who signed her to an exclusive contract. Her first scene was in the 2008 film Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge, and she later starred in more than 40 roles.

Just yesterday, Digital Playground contract star Jones announced her retirement from adult performing in a video she posted on YouTube.

Digital Playground has announced the release of Nurses 2,” the follow-up to the original hit in 2009 with another strong ensemble cast that features five of the company’s exclusive contract girls.

Jesse Jane, Kayden Kross, Riley Steele, Selena Rose and BiBi Jones headline Nurses 2, while Alexis Texas, Nikita Von James, Manuel Ferrara, James Deen, Mick Blue, Erik Everhard and Ben English round out the talent.

The 2011 expo in Edison began with Friday’s Ladies Free Night. Lines of women listened to seminars on relationships, cheered for MEN, an all male revue and host of other shows on the AEBN Entertainment Stage, and shopped at erotic themed vendors. Visual treats included aerial acrobatics from adult superstars Belladonna and Stoya, as well as burlesque shows from Pretty Things Peep Show, Rubberdoll, Rigor Mortis Revue, and more.

Additional highlights of the show included the appearance of Chyna, mainstream wrestling champion and star of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” and the first East Coast public appearance by Seymore Butts in close to a decade. Friday night was the “Back to Jerzey” Official VIP After Party, hosted by Gianna Michaels and Ron Jeremy, with DJ Licious spinning the tunes once again. Gianna cruised up to the hotel in one of the DeLoreans from the Back to the Future movies with a Marty McFly lookalike, which was captured by a sea of media. Saturday night, an “Alan” lookalike greeted fans and VIPs who attended The Hangover XXX After Party hosted by Digital Playground contract star Riley Steele, and the legendary Lisa Ann. Select party-goers were handed cameras to catch the evening’s events (in case steps needed to be retraced), and the popular NJ band, The Replicants cranked out the tunes for the sold out crowd containing a who’s who of the adult industry. Sunday night, Joe Trivia presented “Are You Smarter Than a Porn Star?” trivia where hostesses Tasha Reign and Kagney Linn Karter of LA Direct Models showed off their knowledge.
