The 2009 FSC Awards winners were announced by the Free Speech Coalition, which will be presented at the Bada-Bing Bailout Bash at the Skirball Cultural Center on November 14.

FSC Awards are given to adult industry businesses and professionals for outstanding achievements and contributions to the adult entertainment industry.

It may come as no surprise that the prolific Nick Manning has a new DVD release coming out, but this time the title isn’t available in the “Adult” section. The legendary performer is getting some mainstream love with an appearance in Lionsgate’s dynamic action sequel Crank: High Voltage.

The fast-paced over-the-top thriller stars Jason Statham and Amy Smart and hits stores on DVD and Blu-Ray September 8th.  Manning, who plays himself, is the leader of an angry porn actor’s picket line the protagonist encounters in the film. Following in the footsteps of one of the most popular ED’s Awards Show in the event’s history, the 2009 ED’s Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards show will once again find itself at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino—this time, in their brand new “Joint” showroom. This year’s “Rock & Jock Awards Show” will boast both a rock ‘n’ roll and sports vibe, incorporating EXPO ‘09’s “Building a Winning Team in Your Club” theme. The 2009 ED’s Awards Show—the multi-billion-dollar adult nightclub industry’s only national awards show—will present awards to the nation’s top adult clubs and feature entertainers on August 25th, 2009, during the 17th Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO.

“With all of the great feedback we received after last year’s Awards Show, there was no doubt that we had to return to the Hard Rock,” says ED’s Associate Publisher Dave Manack. “Everything our attendees loved about the ’08 show—live music by The Crashers band, a relaxed rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere, a great venue, table seating, etc.—is back this year, with some new twists.”

Those “twists” include a slew of special awards presenters, including a couple of superstars from the sports world. Dallas Cowboy legend and Superbowl champ Ed “Too Tall” Jones will be handing out ED’s awards, as will motocross superstar Carey Hart. Hart will also host the Awards Show After Party at his nightclub Wasted Space inside the Hard Rock. As the summer heats up to it’s full temperature there is one thing we can always count on in the heat of the days. The famed Nudes-A-Poppin Festival held at the Ponderosa Sun Club in Roselawn Indiana. The nudist camp/Resort has hosted the Nudes-A-Poppin show since its existence more than 25 years ago and it’s celebrity host, Adult Industry legend Ron Jeremy has been there since the beginning.

This is the 7th year that Tony Batman and the A Entertainment News will be covering the Nudes-A-Poppin Pageant where hundreds of Feature Entertainers, Porn Stars, Exotic Dancers, Male Strippers, and Gentleman’s Clubs from all over the world converge on the small town in Indiana to compete for pageant titles such as Miss Nude North America, Entertainer of the Year, Miss Nude Galaxy, Miss Nude Petite Galaxy, Miss Nude Rising Star, Mr Nude North America and many more.

(Canoga Park, CA) LFP Distribution releases the ultimate tribute to one of the most prolific and notable porn directors with Back Strokes & Toilette Fantasies: An Ode to Henri Pachard. All proceeds from the sales of the DVD are going to the Pachard family.

This project meant the world to Henri’s wife, D. Establishing himself in the late ’60s, Pachard was a mainstay in the sexploitation genre at the center of New York’s grindhouse scene. Henri’s dedication to his craft was evident with the huge body of work he created over 40 years in the business. “Henri would say, ‘That’s the shot!’ when he could see it all,” says D. Pachard. “The pussy, a dick, a woman’s face; her eyes filled with heated expressions mixed with confusion and passion as she is being fucked with her face touching the coolness of a porcelain toilet bowl. I believed Henri enjoyed it as much as they did!” Working side by side with Henri the last 12 years of his life, D. Pachard was not only his partner but part of his vast support network. “He built his reputation on being a man of honor and a promise to take us places in our collective sexuality we might not have known we could go and/or could return to.”

In a pinnacle scene, the persona of Henri Pachard is channeled through longtime friend Randy Spears. Pachard. “He not only enjoyed it, but was very touched by the tribute.”

When asked about the man behind the legend, D. Pachard added, “He loved to write and play poker. He was courageous and dynamic and loved life on life’s terms; never the one to stay in the ‘slows’ for too long.”

(Hollywood, CA) In what has become the most elaborate production in X-Play’s history, director Will Ryder has wrapped nine days of shooting Flight Attendants starring a spectacular cast of today’s biggest adult movie stars. The sex-comedy will be released later this summer via Adam & Eve Pictures and already promises to be one of the most intriguing blockbusters of the year.

“If it’s not a smash hit we’re completely fucked,” joked Ryder as he finished the final shooting days on board a jumbo jet interior wrapping the final morning at the all too familiar five AM hour.

Best known for creating top selling porn parodies Not the Bradys XXX, Not Bewitched XXX, Not Three’s Company XXX and the recently released “Cosby Show” parody Not the Cosbys XXX, Flight Attendants is a big step outside of the X-Play batter’s box in that it is an original comedy rather than a spoof of a popular television show.

“We were destined to do something original, something totally funny and pack it with the sexiest girls we could find even if they were contract stars from other companies,” stated co-producer Scott David of X-Play. “This movie is definitely a big gamble on our part but if you saw what I witnessed on set when we were shooting you would agree that it’s going to be a home run and definitely one of the best pictures of the year.”

The cast assembled is one of the greatest in the history of the modern porn era and features Hillary Scott, Teagan Presley, Kayden Kross, Shyla Stylez, Sunny Lane, Misty Stone, Eva Angelina, Kacey Jordan, Lexi Love, Michelle Maylene, Kenzi Marie, Brooke Belle, Cali Couture, Farrah, Evan Stone, Randy Spears, James Bartholet, Jack Lawrence, Ron Jeremy, Eric Swiss, Dino Bravo, Eric John, Barry Scott, Brad Hardy, Scott Lyons, Billy Glide and Thomas Hope of Not the Cosbys XXX fame who plays an air traffic controller that has pilots confusing his voice with that of Bill Cosby.

“It’s the funniest movie we’ve ever executed by far and the actors pulled it off wonderfully and were totally dedicated to the project. In the movie we poke fun at just about every ethnic group including white people because nothing is off limits in Flight Attendants but we do it all in a very good natured way well at least I think we did it in a good natured way,” Ryder said with soulful concern. “But fuck ‘em if they can’t take a joke,” he said as he burst out with laughter that almost knocked a cute young porn starlet off his lap.

The extreme physical and logistical challenges that stood in the way of completing Flight Attendants were ramped up several degrees when multiple shooting days went past 19 hours leaving little time for sleep or recovery.

“We probably pushed the cast and crew well beyond what could be considered reasonable hours from a physical standpoint as nobody should be subjected to four consecutive 19 hour plus days which we hit during one stretch but we were on a mission to make this the best project of the year and I’m happy to say that the actors bought into our philosophy of creating a great movie one hundred percent and did a wonderful job. I would also add that other than a few hundred instances of meltdowns, total anarchy, rebellion and abandonment of the set, we made it through quite swimmingly,” Ryder rejoiced.

(Hollywood, CA) It seems that there is a new article about Sasha Grey hitting the press each day and Not Bewitched XXX movie director Will Ryder can only sit back and enjoy watching the young actress and her meteoric rise in mainstream Hollywood.

Sasha had a memorable role in the 2009 best sex-comedy winner Not Bewitched XXX and many are crediting that movie with helping launch her current mainstream success.

“She really needed the exposure she received from our spoof of ‘Bewitched’ in order to achieve the success she is enjoying today,” Ryder said as he munched on a bagel loaded with ham outside a Jewish delicatessen on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles.

“I think she really appreciated my input and award-winning direction in Not Bewitched XXX which she used to hone her acting skills. It’s quite obvious that she utilized the entire experience as a stepping stone into the big leagues with the Girlfriend Experience,” said Ryder.

When asked if he really thought there were any similarities in the way he directs and in the way the Academy Award winning Steven Soderbergh directs Ryder was quick to point out that there is very little difference in the two styles.

“Listen, we all sit in a big folding director’s chair with our name printed on the back and we all yell for quiet on the set and say shut the fuck up and then we call action. What’s the difference?”

Sasha Grey has not made any public statements regarding her experience with Will Ryder or the rest of the cast of Not Bewitched XXX which included Jenna Haze, Teagan Presley, Eva Angelina, Sunny Lane, Nina Hartley, Aurora Snow, Michelle Avanti, Madison Ivy, Daisy Layne, Kandice Nicole, Kelly Skyline, Winter Sky, Marli Jane, Mike Horner, Ron Jeremy, James Bartholet, James Deen, Aaron Wilcox, Jack Lawrence, Nathan Threat and Britney Amber but it is clear that the movie played a pivotal role in her development as an actress and as a person.

When asked to comment on Ryder’s claim that she used Not Bewitched XXX and Will Ryder as a stepping stone the brunette beauty could only respond, “Will who? Oh, the guy that did the “Brady Bunch” and “Cosby Show” pornos? I thought he went back to the music business.”

For now Will Ryder is moving full speed ahead with his upcoming production of the mega-movie Flight Attendants and this week’s release of Not the Cosbys XXX but knows that Sasha Grey is somewhere fondly thinking about him and the five hours they spent together on the set of Not Bewitched XXX.

Fighting back a tear, Ryder summed it up best by saying, “It was pure magic. She’s a special actress and I’m so proud of her.”
