It appears that Farrah Abraham has signed on the dotted line. About three weeks after she filmed a sex tape with adult film star James Deen – and a couple weeks of very public negotiations — the 21-year-old former Teen Mom star has reportedly landed a deal with porn company Vivid. According to TMZ, Abraham has signed a contract with Vivid’s Steve Hirsch for nearly a million dollars. The site also reports that the film now has its raunchy title: Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.

The lucrative payday is a little bit less than Abraham had publicly hoped for. Copping to the existence of the tape to Us Weekly on April 10, Abraham mused, “I will not be settling for anything less then a couple million.” In the days that followed, Abraham was shot visiting Vivid’s offices (in the company of  her father) and lunching with Hirsch as they reportedly hammered out the details of the deal.

Why did Abaraham do it in the first place? Sources told Us that she’s desperate to revive her career after Teen Mom’s September 2012 finale failed to lead to a new reality show. “She tried to recruit a boyfriend for “Couples Therapy,” ” one pal told Us. “But no one would do it.”
She mused to Us of the film: “When I’m older, I’ll have my best year to look back on.”

Abraham is also expected to be arraigned shortly in her native Omaha, Nebraska for an alleged DUI.

Ultimately, I am glad to hear that she is out the adult entertainment industry. Not only because she is in her mid-forties, but this move seemed to be detrimental to her mental and physical health. Sadly, with several reports of her passing out at porn conventions followed by crazy tweets about a stolen dog, it seemed that Chyna was not going to be too long for this world.

Now, with this latest news, it appears that she may have a new lease on life and has a real purpose. That being said, I am uncertain how serious people will take this move and if it will last longer than a few months.

Personally, after watching a few videos, I kind of feel like this method of teaching seems to be a bit odd. However, I am hopeful that this career change gives her a fresh start and allows the WWE a chance to seriously consider her for its Hall of Fame.

Chances are she may have seriously blown her opportunity when she decided to go into porn. Nonetheless, the company should realize what she did for women’s wrestling in the WWE. Let’s face it, she not only broke the mold of the stereotypical Diva star, but she also became the first and only women to hold the company’s Intercontinental title.

Which to me is nothing short of amazing. Yes, Chyna comes with some baggage, but you can pretty much say the same thing about many of the WWE’s Hall of Famers. Legendary stars like Eddie Guerrero, Curt Hennig, The Von Erichs and Abdullah the Butcher have all been susceptible to different types of scandalous behavior. Yet, it was virtually ignored and each were inducted based on their in-ring notoriety alone.

In the end, if Chyna takes this career move seriously and stays clean, there is no reason that the WWE couldn’t induct her a few years down the line.

Axel Braun Named Best Director-Parody and, for Third Consecutive Year, Director of the Year-Body of Work

Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody from Axel Braun Productions and Vivid Entertainment, won eight coveted AVN Awards on Saturday, including “The best selling and renting movie of the year.” Its director Axel Braun was honored as Best Director-Parody for his work on Star Wars XXX, and made history by winning for the third consecutive year as “Director of the Year-Body of Work.” The awards were among a dozen picked up by Vivid and its partners.

Complementing its honor as best seller and renter, Star Wars XXX was selected for “Best Art Direction,” “Best Overall Marketing Campaign,” “Best Parody-Comedy,” “Best Screenplay-Parody” and “Best Director-Parody,” while Tom Byron was selected as “Best Supporting Actor” for his outstanding turn as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the film.

“Being singled out as the best selling and renting movie of the year is a ringing endorsement for Star Wars XXX and for our strategy of presenting unequalled parodies that fans most want to see,” said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid.

Vivid Entertainment wants Prince Harry’s crown jewels — in a movie.

Wasting no time after photos of Harry’s nude Las Vegas romp hit the news, Vivid fired off a letter to the randy royal offering him $10 million to appear in a big budget celebrity movie called The Trouble With Harry.

Vivid founder Steven Hirsch wrote, “We were amused and pleased by the photos of your recent frolic in Las Vegas. What happens there rarely stays there, unfortunately.

“We would like to offer you the opportunity to truly become the coolest Prince of all time, by starring in a fun, sexy, big-budget adult film called The Trouble with Harry. It can be shot in the locale of your choice, and will bring together your exciting royal world and our thrilling world of beautiful women!  Of course ‘little Harry’ will make an appearance too, but we assure you the sex will be well scripted, and the crown jewels will not be ‘minimized’ in any way.”

Hirsch also made the point that the $10 million would beef up the Prince’s trust.

“Prince Harry is the one royal we can all relate to,” Hirsch told E! News. “This film would be a worldwide best-seller. Everyone would HAVE to see it!”

This isn’t the first time Vivid’s sought royal raunch. Last May the company offered Philippa “Pippa” Middleton — sister of Catherine and wife of Prince William — $5 million to perform in a sex scene after racy party photos of her surfaced.

Another $1 million was offered to Pippa’s brother James who was also spied at the party.

Blockbuster Vivid Parody Gets 16 AVN Award Nominations

The incredible success of Vivid’s high-budget superhero spoof Spider-Man XXX: A Porn Parody, may be attributed to a modern version of the old-fashioned gossip grapevine, according to porn-parody king/director Axel Braun.  The movie has been nominated for 16 AVN Awards at the upcoming show in Las Vegas.

“I knew we had struck a chord when several famous comic book writers and artists, and even a much-celebrated mainstream director, contacted me out of the blue to tell me how much they enjoyed the adult movie parody. The word was definitely out that this was worth watching,” says Braun. “Even though I spoofed the iconic upside-down kiss from Raimi’s first movie, I wanted to stay with and spoof the comic version, and I guess that’s why adults in the comic book community responded so positively.”

The parody was launched in July of this year by Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult film studio. Word about Braun’s masterful directing, his fidelity to the characters and his legendary attention to detail quickly spread through both the comic and adult industries.

The 2012 AVN Awards will be co-hosted by adult luminaries Bree Olson and Sunny Leone—both up for “Crossover Star of the Year”—with comedian Dave Attell taking his second turn as the evening’s funnyman.

A committee of 10 AVN critics spent close to a month and a half compiling nominations in over 130 categories recognizing companies, talent, technicians and creative professionals across the spectrum of the adult entertainment industry. Several new categories were created to reflect the ever-evolving market trends of the business; these include “Best Studio Website,” “Best Solo Girl Website,” “Best All-Sex Release – Mixed Format,” “Best Director – Parody” and “Best Celebrity Sex Tape.”

Vivid Entertainment dominated the latter with six contenders from its Vivid Celeb line, but Dream Zone Entertainment and new imprint Exquisite Celebrity scored nods as well. Vivid founder Steven Hirsch also received special recognition of his own in another brand-new category, the AVN Visionary Award, honoring him for his singular achievement in bringing adult into the mainstream sphere.

Leading the pack for overall nominations, as it frequently does, was distributor Evil Angel, with its stable of directors collectively earning 114 mentions. The newest member of the Evil Angel team, performer/director Bobbi Starr, made a particularly impressive showing, earning a total of 16 noms for her work in front of and behind the camera, including “Best Actress” (for New Sensations Romance’s A Little Part of Me), “Best Anal Sex Scene” (in her own Shut Up and Fuck), “Best Director – Non-Feature” (for Shut Up and Fuck), Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene (in Elegant Angel Productions’ Prison Girls), “Best Oral Sex Scene” (in Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: Fellatio from Wicked Pictures), “Best Supporting Actress” (in New Sensations’ Scooby-Doo: A XXX Parody) and “Female Performer of the Year.”

Starr’s male counterpart would seem to be comeback sensation and her Shut Up and Fuck scene partner Nacho Vidal, who picked up 12 noms encompassing the all-Nacho debauchery fests Nacho Invades America (Jules Jordan Video) and Nacho Vidal vs. Live Gonzo (Cruel Media/Evil Angel), as well as a “Male Performer of the Year” notice and induction into the AVN Hall of Fame.

Very close on Evil Angel’s heels for overall mentions was Jules Jordan Video, with 112 total, including a nomination for Jules Jordan himself as “Director of the Year (Body of Work).” The reigning victor in that category, parody king Axel Braun, had arguably an even better year this time around, with his Vivid release Spider-Man XXX: A Porn Parody racking up 16 nominations, the Axel Braun Productions title Elvis XXX: A Porn Parody (distributed by Vivid) scoring nine, and his Hustler Video effort This Ain’t Ghostbusters XXX 3D landing eight, to name a few.

Fellow parody-smith Will Ryder didn’t do too badly, either, earning 12 nominations for his New Sensations release The Flintstones: A XXX Parody, and another 12 between his X-Play/Adam & Eve Pictures projects Beverly Hillbillies: A XXX Parody and Rocky XXX: A Parody Thriller!.

The most nods for a single title went to Wicked Pictures’ The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody, earning 18 total, including “Best Actor” (newcomer Mac Turner), “Best Art Direction,” “Best Cinematography” (Jake Jacobs), “Best Director – Parody (Brad Armstrong),” “Best Editing (Scott Allen)” and two mentions in “Best Original Song (for the ditties “Fuck-a-Fuck-a” and “Oversexed Porn Star”).”

“I am extremely pleased with the nominations list our committee produced this year,” AVN senior editor Peter Warren said. “I’ve been a part of this process for nine years now, and I can honestly say I think this is the most thorough and rock-solid job we’ve ever done. Comedy Central show “Tosh.0″ is now on the receiving end of the satirical sword: Award-winning adult performer Dane Cross has made his directorial debut with a parody of the long-running show, called “Tosh Porn.0h.” Produced by Sunlust Pictures in conjunction with Seduxx Entertainment, the DVD will be released September 26th with distribution through Vivid.

Seen weekly on Comedy Central, “Tosh.0″ is a topical series that looks at the Internet much like E!’s “The Soup” looks at television. The show features viral clips, sketches, and appearances by people who have appeared in video clips that went viral. Comedian Daniel Tosh created the show, and hosts it weekly.

On Friday, Charlie Sheen dropped the extortion lawsuit he had against porn star and Vivid Girl, Capri Anderson, after he claimed she was extorting him for money after their infamous Plaza Hotel rendezvous.

“She’s [Anderson] pleased this litigation is over. She’s moved on with her life and other endeavors,” her lawyer, Keith Davidson said.

Last April, Anderson claimed that she never received a copy of the lawsuit and dared the former “Two and a Half Men” star to serve her while feature dancing at a Long Island strip club.

Capri Anderson is now the newest Vivid Girl and Charlie Sheen will star in a sitcom called Anger Management, starting soon.
